I don't think Alexander will be considered for Floyd no matter what happens against Khan. He's not exciting, not easy to root for, not hate-able either. PPV numbers would suck.

Alexander all of a sudden was trying to be controversial, talking about Chinese restaurant owners and whatnot, talking about Mayweather not fighting black fighters etc That for me seems like someone who has been told say these things. Then the Khan fight got announced then everything made sense (Beat Khan and you get Mayweather).

NO, I think the winner of Khan vs Alexander should then fight Kell Brook for that IBF Title...WINNER OF THAT GETS MAYWEATHER! The holder of the IBF belt should face Floyd - it makes adds a bit more to any credibility for the fight. I am not sure if Devon has been calling out Floyd, but Khan does it non stop. Khan only has one win at 147 so I believe he should get a belt to legitimize his claim. At least Devon has a few more wins at 147 already. In reality I don't think that Khan, Garcia or Alexander are going to trouble Floyd that much if he fought them. And I don't think any of those fights would be entertaining.

This fight is for Khan to legitimatize his claim as a Mayweather opponent if May/PAC don't happen in May , If Alexander pulls it off then yeah he deserves the fight but won't get it because he has 63 fans and their mostly all Floyd fans too, he doesn't bring any $ Or interest to the table.

Devon already has victories over Lucas Matthysse and Marcos Maidana... if he gets a win over Amir Khan i think he is def worthy of a Floyd Mayweather Jr fight but i doubt that would ever happen. Lucas got robbed vs Alexander. It was a 10 round fight, Lucas even scored a knockdown and the fans in St. Louis was even booing the decision. That was Alexander second gift in St. Louis. I dare Floyd to fight Alexander and think that will be able to compete with Cotto vs Canelo. Showtime won't go thru with it. They're already losing money with no competition when Floyd fights. So to go up against a big Puerto Rico vs Mexico with that showdown, on cinco de mayo with that fight, not gonna happen. Would be a disaster.

Devon should 100% not get a Mayweather fight for beating Khan. Him beating Khan would only confirm that Khan never deserved to be mentioned as a Mayweather opponent, it does nothing to enhance Alexander's worthiness.

Is there even the slightest chance that Floyd-Devon wouldn't be an appalling spectacle? Why would it be appalling? People need to stop pitting Floyd against aggressive plodders. He will just run, potshot, run, clinch, demand a huge ring and Bayless. It's getting tiring. Why not give him someone who he can comfortably stand with in the middle of the ring so he doesn't have to run? You might not believe fireworks would ensue.
