Even when he wins he has an excuse. My favorite one is he said he got hit more than usual cause he was practicing a different style of fighting... wtf?
Donaire might be on the slide but he's still the proven fighter between he and Walters. This a big step up in class for the Axe Man and I expect his chin to truly get checked tonight. I'm sticking with Donaire on this one.
Donaire has much more experience than Walters. This fight will be slower than most think since they both prefer counterpunching.
I expect Donaire to win
After the beatdown that Walters is gonna put on him,he'll Donaire will realize he's done and announce his retirement in the ring after the fight, talking about his family and all that.
this nonito donaire guy sure gets alot of hate for being the first boxer to implement year round random drug testing in the pros when it is unprecedented and fighting the best fighters available and dominating 90% of them
"yea but he lost to rigondeaux, guy sucks"
If anyone ever wanted an example of fighters being better off ignoring fans and avoiding tough opponents it's Donaire.
He fought Rigo and now Walters, but apparently it doesn't count if you don't like him.

I think he wins and Walters gets called a hypejob by the same who claimed he was a monster pre fight.
Of course. Donaire never has and never will get credit. People actually think he should fight at welterweight.
Even when he does exactly what his irrational haters say he won't, Donaire gets hated on. Everyone who hates on Donaire, your favorite fighter could stand to be a little more like Nonito Donaire.
I'm surprised no one has said the most obvious one. He's been saying in interviews this week that he doesn't really love boxing as much anymore, and that it's definitely a job now. I feel like he's setting up his excuse in advance because he knows this is a tough fight. If he loses, he can use the old "my heart just wasn't in it" excuse. I think it's a near 50/50 fight, but that's what everyone will say if he loses. I'm calling bs though. I think he just doubts himself now after a loss and another tough fight.
