If Thurman fought Roberto Garcia, then people would be saying he was ducking Devon. Besides, that match would be pointless anyway, as it wouldn't do anything for their careers. Guerrero pulled out of the fight and Porter's dad said that there weren't enough money in the fight. I won't say Porter is ducking but Guerrero certainly is and even when he's asked about it, he never sounds like he wants the fight ("Keith Urban? I'm gonna see his concert." *stutters on his "answer" after that*). If nobody is ducking Thurman, then I'm sure a lot of the big names would try to prove it and yet, hardly any of them do. All this does is just add the claim that he's being ducked. If they don't want to do that, then they need to just fight him already. He's already said he's not afraid to let go of his 0. Heck, he's almost daring the other boxers to fight him. It is not because the other top fighters are avoiding Keith Thurman. Its simply the fact Al Haymon is not putting his name fighters against one another. He hasn't done it all year and he isn't starting with Keith. Keith Thurman even went on twitter and said he wasn't thrilled about fighting a Roberto Garcia. Fight was offered to him and he turned it down. That is a FACT. So if he himself is turning down fights he can't really claim other fighters are ducking him. You could say nobody wants it with Guerrero, Broner, Danny G, etc because Haymon just flat out is not matching any of them with competition.

Thurman better fight soon or people will start to mistake him for being retired.

As much as I would like to join the hype train, I'd have to see him first with someone a tad better than Karass and Chaves. The Chaves fight in particular planted the seed of doubt in me. Had Chaves fought more aggressively in that fight he could have brought a lot of problems on One Time. Everyone is waiting to see Thurman fight against better competition but how can he when they don't want to fight him? Until then, we can't just completely forget about the dude. If he truly has too much hype, then at least ONE of the top guys should prove it. I hope the Thurman vs. Alexander fight is true and if he does win, people should finally give him the credit he deserves.

you know whats so funny you actually believe I think this cause of Maidana is on my sig and avy lol. NO I think this cause its the truth. But it's not true and it's very silly to think it is. Maidana's resume as a welterweight really isn't all that impressive itself and he's yet to even beat an A-level opponent. Plus, he just came off two losses this year so Thurman shouldn't have to keep going in other directions just to get a fight with somebody like Maidana.

Thurman has some serious potential, but his signature wins are against a 9 loss Julio Diaz, a 10 loss Soto Karass, and a virtually unknown and unproven Diego Chaves. I'll have to wait for a little bit more than that before jumping on the he's the future bandwagon.

That's why in the Soto Karass fight, despite his "bad" defense, he only got caught just once and in the Diaz fight, he wasn't caught at all. I think people are really underrating Thurman. I really believe Thurman will be unstoppable from welter till the day he goes middleweight.. MAYWEATHER HAS BEEN THE PRESENT. No doubt, but I have been thinking of how mayweather should go out. EVERyone knows his contract ends after his 49th fight. So Khan who is big and can help carry the gate in the U.K. could most possibly be the next opponent...
