If you already want to argue with triangel theories (don't do btw...) then at least say real triangel theories, not fantasy triangle theories. "Hell no he wouldn't". LOL you base your arguement on a ficiton that Broner wouldn't beat Herrera. I understand that is this your opinion but 1: Thriangle theories are vitally silly and 2: If you must use them than use real ones.
Also based on this logic Alvarado is more disciplined and skilled than Danny Garcia (who had just a controversial W over Herrera) and a better fighter than Provodnikov who lost to Herrera. You don't want to tell me that, right?
Most of the people here need toreflect the fighters more sober. Broner was hyped to death before the Maidana fight and now every second user here think that he would lose to every journeymen and C level slugger.
Oh dat do triangle theory doe. Aw hex naw.
You're not high on Broner but you're doing a spectacular job in overrating him.
Would Broner beat Herrera? Hell no he wouldn't - he barely beat Malignaggi. Alvarado did though. I find it hard to believe Broner could beat Rios also. But in your view Broner is "levels" above Alvarado. Sorry but no... not even close. Broner has some natural talent, but he lacks skill and discipline. Alvarado is simply more disciplined and skilled.

I've seen your posts, your bias runs deep. Alvarado is clearly more skilled in the art of boxing. Broner couldn't outbox Rios, he doesn't have the skill for it. Broner doesn't outbox anybody.
No bias here, I NEVER bought up the Broner hype even when most of the boxing fans ran wild with it. I also predicted that Maidana will beat him, BUT Broner is at least talented just he has (already) well known flaws and he hasn't learned some very important and basic elements of this sport, like footwork/movement. But otherwise he is talented, pretty accurate, with nice combinations, quick hands and some pops in his hands.
Alvarado on the other hand never was that taleneted and never thought anyone that he was. He looked extremely sluggish both against JMM and Provodnikov. It doesn't take much boxing skills to be able to outbox Rios. Rios just walk straigth, no jabs, no traps, can't cut the ring well. He does good sometimes when his opponent stands in front of him but that's all. Alvarado is naturally a slow, sluggish guy just like Rios but he has slightly better boxing skills than Rios (well that's not that hard...) so he could win in their rematch. Not a big deal at all.
And try not to pretend that because Broner lost to one of the best brawlers today in Maidana, then every sluggish brawler will beat his ass and they are even more skillfull than him no matter on which level are they compared to Maidana. Broner hasn't got a good footwork but he has enough to step away from the front of Rios or Alvarado and embrasse them with quick, accurate combinations from the outside.
I'm not high on Broner but he is definitely levels above Alvarado and Rios. Broner IMO is a B class fighter, definitely not B+ (yet?), but simply B or B- but Alvarado and Rios are probably and maximum C level fighters and they won't be any better in the future.
Maidana is bigger, hits harder, and far more skilled. Would be a great fight but Provdnikov wouldn't have enough to beat Maidana. The fact that he bruises easily wouldn't help either.
This would be a brutal fight that I definitely wouldn't mind seeing. I don't know who to pick in this fight.
However, if Maidana is still weak to bodyshots, then I can picture Provodnikov dropping him at the least.
Ohh c'mon already... Do we follow the same sport? Broner is better and has more talent than Alvarado. That's crystal clear. And no, I don't say cause I like Broner, I don't like him. I know that on this site is cool to be biased but luckily not for me...

Broner isn't top class. He's average, at best. Alvarado has more skill and power and Provodnikov destroyed him.

Maidana almost lost to Corley. I know hypers will say how much he's improved but he really hasn't improved much. The Floyd rematch proved he's not a smart fighter and still can't change gears. Maidana will forever be an up and down fighter. Provodnikov is more consistent, win or lose, his losses are all razor thin. Maidana has some very weak losses and some unimpressive wins(Corley, Morales, Lopez).
Maidana hasn't beaten any top class fighters. His best win is against an overhyped, lower B level, blown up lightweight. His next best wins are against C level guys like Karass, Lopez and Ortiz.
it depends on your definition of top class. i consider guys liek broner as top class because, frankly they are. they arent elite but they are world class fighters. prov has not beaten any world class fighters. none. all the hype he gets is from a close fight with tim bradley. its perplexing. miadana has a close fight with floyd mayweather and ppl will still tell u prov is the better fighter. seriously it makes no sense.
Maidana doesn't warrant hype but at least he's fought top class fighters and he's also beaten some. Provo has literally beaten no1 worth a damn and he has never even looked nearly as good as ppl claim. He gets hit by everything, his chin isn't that impressive, and his face falls apart rather easily. And u wanna believe he beats maidana? I don't see it.
