Say what you want about them but Klitschko and Mayweather are two most dominant champions of the past 10 years.
They're both fighting tough challengers next month
Wlad's fighting Pulev on September 6, Floyd is taking on Maidana a week later.
I genuinely believe that one of them will get old overnight and will lose but is it possible that two ATG's will lose within 7 days?
Pulev is the best HW not named Klitschko right now and ,as the first showed us, Maidana is not a walk in the park to Floyd either.
They're both pushing 40, they're both have been dominanting for so long but is now the time for them to end their reigns?
How the boxing world would react?
What do you guys think?
We all know its more difficult to age well in the lighter weight classes than the heavier classes.
But I dont think either man loses and looking to the near future I dont see anyone in the heavyweight division that can stop Wladmir, but himself. Floyd does have plenty of fighters that can give him problems if he were to "age" overnight but his style of fighting doesnt give much way to that.
Pulev is ****e. He doesn't have anything that will trouble Wlad. Let's get real with that one. He'll get dominated and KTFO. Not only is he pretty crap, but his style is tailor made for Wlad too. Easy fight for Wlad. Don't understand why anyone thinks otherwise, and you'll agree with me after the fight. There'll be the morons now that ***** and moan about this prediction, but you'll get it after Sep 6th.
Maidana has the better chance, mainly because he's a better fighter, but his style is also much more trouble for Floyd at this stage of their careers.
He has a chance to win, though I think it comes down to whether Floyd has deteriorated just that little bit further or not. It's a great fight.
I wouldn't go as far as saying Pulev is "pretty crap". In fact, I think that's not true at all. He'll probably give Wlad a decent fight, he's tougher than most of Wlad's other opponents. Plus he's only one or two inches shorter. It'll be a good fight where Wlad emerges as the clear winner either by KO or on points.
Before it even starts, Maidana has an uphill climb in this second one.
- Maidana will not be able to wear his preferred punchers gloves. This alone may not mean much (ie. same as fight #1) but continue reading.
- Kenny Bayless will be the ref. He will not allow Maidana to do what he did in the first one even though many of those times, he was retaliating on something that Floyd did.
- Dave Moretti, who judged the first, will be judging this one too.He had Floyd winning comfortably including Floyd winning 4-2 in the first half of the fight. So Maidana will have to do better than his best from the first fight.
This will be Floyd's face in the upcoming fight when Maidana gets warned constantly:

Pulev is a very good heavyweight but i don't think he is the one to beat him. Pulev's best weapon is his jab but i doubt he can out jab Wladimir and i don't think he will be able to avoid the right hands of Wlad.
Maidana will be a tough fight but i'd be surprised if he beat Mayweather, i got the sense that he couldn't do any better than he did the first time but Mayweather couldn't do any worse. I think this will be more decisive.
If Mayweather lost the boxing world would be like when Broner lost but times 100
It would be immediately clear that Pacquiao would have destroyed him.

Pulev is one of the best opponents WK has faced. Yet he isn't particularly dangerous for Wlad and technically is not nearly as good. I highly doubt Wlad has aged overnight THAT much. But there is a remote chance I guess.
Mayweather there is a better chance he has aged over night and he could be upset. I think it still most likely that Floyd will reverse the close call from last time and beat Maidana comprehensively.
And the odds that BOTH upsets occur is even less likely.
I wouldn't count on any upsets. But as said, the chances are definitely there, however remote so...
All I can say is I would LOVE for Maidana to get Floyd! That would be splendid.
