DSG, Is Postol enough to make up for the Herrera/Salka fiascos?

Postol stylewise is a nightmare for Danny with his fucking boring, mechanic, textbook, jab based boxing. I don't know who I would want to win. On one hand nor Danny is an exciting fighter just if someone brings hi the fight, otherwise if he has to force the attack and he can't counter he is bushed. On the other hand Postol's style is IMO the definition of boring. Nothing subconscious just boring textbook boxing with a lots of jabs. But I think I would backing Postol because Danny (and his father) is also a douchebag and not a sympathetic person based on his interviews. But after Postol wins the title (which is likely I think) I would support almost everyone else to take his belt.

For me it will somewhat make up for salka, it's still an inexcusable fight that we had to endure. Not for the Herrera fight, only way to make up for that is a rematch

it was one of those fights where basically nothing happened. sparring match comes to mind. no robbery or anything but I thought lundy landed cleaner while postol was basically jabbing. lol, I didn't see that fight but if Lundy did get robbed, I guess it would be fair considering some of the atrocious cards that have gone against some of the foreign boxers fighting over here as of late.

Why in the world are people so high on Postol? Someone please explain. Cause he's very talented. He beat Lundy, who is underrated, and beat up Aydin way worse than Robert Guerrero and Soto Karass. High volume, good hand speed, technical fighter. As for the question. If he fights Peterson or Postol that should be enough to make up for the Salka fiasco.

If he plans on staying at 140 for another fight, I would be fine with him fighting Matthysse, Herrera, Postol or Peterson. Anything other than those 4 is unacceptable. If he moves to 147, he can get away with fighting a top 15 guy like Karass for his next fight. I don't even wanna see the Peterson fight. Does nothing for Danny imo. The other three are cool but I'm not sold on Postol.

Herrera poses the biggest threat to technically schooling him, but Provodnikov poses the threat to taking him into places he doesn't want to be. Mathysse is to calm, he's almost like a nice hit man. I don't know man, they pose different threats...

Danny is a top 140 fighter and so is Herrera. No fiasco there. They had a close fight. Salka was a disgrace but doesn't mean Danny isn't one of the best at 140. If he loses to Postol, he's still top 5 @ 140. Of he beats Postol, he's still top 5 at 140. No matter how you slice the pie, he's still one of the best at 140. Yup! And Danny would probably whip Postol and the haters would still find something to b1tch about.

Would love to see the Garcia-postol. But I think set Garcia moving up.

Supposed to be one choice :lol1: Ideally the Salad fight should of been the Peterson fight and right now Danny would be the WBC/WBA/IBF/Ring champion. I've never said Danny is not top 5, i actually see Swift as the 140 king. It's just that as a fan i was dissapointed in his performance against Herrera and the selection of Salka as an opponent. I am rooting for him to win a big fight next time around.
