The one thing that impressed me the most about little Salka is his ability to take clearly flush loaded punches from a bigger and hard hitting fighter.
Danny Garcia loaded up with those punches and hit Salka with his chin up flush on the button and still couldn't put him out cold the way Marquez put Pac out cold with a baby right hand counter.
Salka took that left punch and was out for 2 seconds and recovered and was awake.
The first right hand that landed flush wobbled Salka but he never went down he went back to the ropes, that right hand would have iced Pacman.
If only Salka knew how to box and punch, he was just bouncing around the ring like a chicken and flicking jabs with no authority.
If I were Roach, I would rethink my desire to fight Danny Garcia after seeing what he did to Salka last night especially the right hand counters he threw. DG is no joke when it comes to his power.
Zalka probably doesn't possess quite enough raw power to KO Pacquiao with a jab...but a well timed uppercut could decapitate Manny. Especially if Rod Stanka followed your legendary game plans. And as far as Rios sending him through the ropes -- I think the wind from a Rios jab, combined with a good night's sleepy time, could send Manny not only through the ropes, but through the outer walls of the MGM. Proper sleepy time combined with a Hectari game plan is the key, though.
That's what I think, Salka knocks out PAC with a corkscrew uppercut
he also doesn't have technical skills as i am told.
dem some weird ped's he's taking. he doesn't get any more power nor punch resistance, and he still cannot box. he just wins for some reason apparently.
It's just luck, bruh. Pure luck. I don't even think Manny knows he's a boxer. Freddie just sends him into the ring and tells him to punch at stuff. Manny just blindly throws punches in any and all directions just hoping to land something. Kinda like a little kid playing a video game who presses every button on the controller hoping something good happens. And I guess...he's gotten lucky a lot. But in reality Manny is a less skilled boxer than a true boxer and talent like, say for instance Rod Salka. And lets face it, every boxer out there knows that Pacquiao is horrid in every aspect in the fight game (besides luck...if you can consider that an aspect) and they all come in overconfident knowing that a simple jab that grazes him will probably put him in a coma. And then boom -- Pac gets lucky.
It really kinda defies logic when you think about it, but how else can a dude with horrific defense, horrific boxing ability, has a horrific boxing IQ, is horrific at cutting the ring, has the power of a gnat, and has arguably the worst jaw in the history of the sport....win as much as he has? It's like some X-Files type sh*t for real.
yes.
pac has no power and no chin.
how he got to where he is, i don't know.

I agree, Rios was super aggressive, even though Alvarado was shot at least he disposed of him like you are supposed to do to a human punching bag.
Rios will not backdown. If he rematched Pacquiao he would probably knock him through the ropes this time around.

Yeah I know. I don't think Pacquiao beats this new version of Rios.

Rios already admit he was groggy and unprepared to handle the big lights against Pac.

:lol1: :lol1: nah it was the Chinese food.
Makes you sleepy on a full belly. Rios shouldn't have had the egg rolls

is this the same dude who said paulie would stop pacman?
He also has claimed in the past that every single KD or KO from Manny was a result of luck. Weird angles and pure luck timing.
Yeah but we can't fault TS for that. Rios was a sleepy head that morning according to TS -- thus the jab was only operating at 30 to 40%.

Acne chest Marquez juiced to the gills sent Alvarado Flying across the ring, Alvarado never went out cold but he was hurt bad, Pacman doesn't have a great chin compared to Alvarado, heck Salka could have survived if he knew how to tie up or box, Garcia had to hit him over and over with flash power shots to put him out cold for a few seconds.
Pacman has never taken that many flush power shots, when he did get hit flushed he was hurt bad and out cold. Do you think Pac could withstand the type of punishment Salka took? doubt it.
Even Marquez has never been knocked out cold and he gets hit flush every fight with pure vicious power punches to his chin.
where were you back in 2009?
If that is just todays judgement then I would agree with you, because I dont know where pacquiao exactly is right now, or how his chin is.
But prime to prime. Pac would annihilate garcia. So yes, your right he wouldnt take a punishment like salka did.
Well, he survived Rios's jab.... the same jab you thought he'd knock Pac out with
