Julian would've never landed on Brook. he's slow and he doesn't have accumulative power. no body shot KO's.
Wait, what?
Ok people are drinking that GGG kool Aid, Jackson would of killed brook easy
The Brook stoppage didn't exactly look that convincing, did it?
Julian Jackson could knock you unconscious before you even hit the floor.

In terms of one punch power, probably not. There haven't been many that could land such hard shots so consistently though.
Even when we've seen guys do well against him, they seem to rapidly break down from the impact of whatever Golovkin is landing.

Brook was going to sleep in the next round or so....
GGG is very economical with his punches, I bet if he went in there being wild and winding up he could score some devastating knockouts too, but to answer your question, I think JJ was a harder puncher without a doubt, however GGG is probably no:2.
Can't really say much for David Le'Mule! his opposition isn't exactly worthy of mentions.
GGG has a ton of power without having to load up. He's pretty refined. He does have a ton of power and some heavy hands and his power sticks to you. It's hard to say if he hits harder because of his style. Everything he throws seems to hurt even his "light" stuff. Pavlik wasnt hurting with every shot (though had heavy hands) but unleashed thunder with that right (I remember Martinez saying Pavlik had absolutely brutal power in his hands). Jj had killer power and was more explosive.
Very hard to say.. I guess different kinds of power. GGG seems to be a heavier puncher..more debilitating if you will with the added benefit of also having concussive power.
yea, if he loaded up like jackson i don't think anyone doesn't get sparked if caught clean
i've only seen one fighter eat a golovkin overhand clean to the chin, and not an exaggerated loopy right to get around the guard, and that was ishida, and he got sparked
so i think he punches atleast as hard as jackson
because he sparked one guy? who else has he knocked out like that? ive seen jackson KO at least half a dozen better fighters than ishida in more devastating fashion.
ishida was awake (dazed but awake) in less than 10 seconds and sitting up aware of what happened well within a minute.. herol graham was flat on his back for nearly 5 minutes, according to some sources it took him well over 10 minutes to realize what happened.
jackson left people cold, stiff or twitching on a regular basis while the vast majority of golovkins victims finish on their feet. within the distance but on their feet none the less.
i dont see how golovkin power is even comparable to jacksons.
those arent even his biggest ones, i picked them because im not sure everyone seen them before.
edit: look how little is on the right hand he knocked out milton with and the effect it had. golovkin can crack but jackson is on another level.
??? Pavlik was never a one punch KO guy, he always hurt you then finished you off, not sure what you are on about. Pavlik was a great finisher, hard puncher, but not a devastating puncher. Without his workrate, he wouldn't have been stopping everyone.
There are people that hit harder than GGG with one shot, like Julian Jackson probably, but what makes GGG truly frightening is how hard EVERY shot is. Its the same thing that has made Pacquiao so dangerous, and has been enunciated by several of his foes. Its not that he hits you so hard with one shot, its that every shot is hard.
Every shot is precise and has a purpose with Golovkin. He has one of the best temperaments of any fighter I've seen in a long time as well. And his punches are sickeningly hard.
pavlik's right hand at distance is definitely harder than anything golovkin can throw. golovkin has better timing, skills to set things up, but pavlik has the harder punch.

mclellan punched a good deal harder than golovkin.
so did kelly pavlik.
pavlik wasnt a 1 punch KO artist, he threw over 100 punches a round and rarely got top 10 fighters out of there early
Julian Jackson not only hit harder, but his speed was much great than Golovkin. That's why his knockouts were so scary. Not only was he the hardest puncher in history, but the other fighter didn't see the shots coming. Mike McCallum said the same thing.
