Danny Garcia vs Ruslan Provodnikov, who wins?

Back to underrating Danny Garcia I see LOL I think Danny Garcia style is made for Reckless Pressure Fighter because he is pretty good at Countering and Timing his opponents I think it would be much like the Matthysse fight, I think Danny would bring his best and WIN!

Wow, so Provo beats Danny now. I mean I understand why certain fighters get hated. But Danny did nothing to no one to garner his. Anyway, Provo can punch and take a punch. But, that's where it ends with him. Danny can also punch and take a punch. But he moves with angles. He's a very good counter puncher. He has good stamina and his boxing IQ is far greater. Danny puts on a clinic vs Provo.

People underrating Garcia again.....Provonikov was soundly beaten by Herrera too. Garcia can handle fighters like Provonikov, he's shown that. Still, a pretty close pick em fight right now probably. He was not soundly beaten by Herrera, most thought he won that fight, espn had it like 9-3 or 8-4 for Provo. Herrera got a bit lucky in that decision. Also Ruslan is a much better fighter now under Roach. That being said I'd still go with Garcia. He just seems to handle come forward fighters.

IMO it all depends on whether or not Danny can seriously hurt Ruslan; if he can't, he's in for a long night. I don't think that Danny has the activity or defense to contend with Ruslan for 12 rounds.

I used to think Garcia, but now I think Provodnikov.

Garcia, 8-4. He'd probably tie Ruslan up every time he got close and would definitely have no trouble hitting him. It would be a good fight, though, and Ruslan could beat him.

Danny Garcia is still the real deal regardless of how horrible he looked against Herrera, he possess a lot of good and underrated skills. With the exception of a select few he would be a serious problem for most of the '40 and 47s. That said, I see punchers are still very much overrated on these boards. Garcia will pick him apart, hurt him bad and move around freely.

lucas isnt a pressure fighter like provo. provo wont stop coming, and danny's boxing skills arent on par to provo off and away. i got provo by ud Danny's power is on par with any puncher, question is how will Danny's power affect Ruslan pressure? Will Ruslan fight smarter? Ruslan is a skilled brawler, if he comes right in and eats too many left hooks he going be sleeping. At some point Danny will hit the button if given enough chances, Danny Garcia has a good feel when and where to place a left hook, reminds me in the NFL, some QB that just feel the pressure and step up in the pocket at the right moment without looking, Danny Garcia has that feel with his left hook, doesn't need to see it, he feels it.

Ruslan is an animal !!! Danny would have to be on his game all night, the drama during the fight would be electric !!!!

I think Danny is better overall but styles make fights. Provo too strong for him Just like Lucas Martin Matthysse was "too strong" too. It bothers me when you guys just make assumptions like this one knowing Danny Garcia can take a punch and has never been KO'd. Like i said earlier in this thread, this would be a great match up and i consider Ruslan along with AB as the only names left for Swift to clean out the 140 division. It would be a competitive fight but i give the edge to Danny due to his experience , Ruslan's best W is 'mike alvarado'. Enough said. :boxing:
