Is the ww division the best in boxing right now?

Yes.. It has the best top level talent and the most depth...that's the money division so everyone is trying to go there

WW is ridiculously good atm. Easily the best division.

Super Middle was ridiculously deep a few years ago. We had Kessler, Ward, Froch, Abraham, Taylor, Dirrell, Bute, Andrade, Bika, Green, Johnson, Stieglitz etc. but some of them have started to drop away. There are a few guys coming through like Groves, Degale, Oozthusien (or whatever), Anthony Dirrell, Love, Chavez Jr?, Rodriguez that will probably have big fights in the future.

Almost throughout the entire history of boxing the Welterweight division has been stacked.

Top reason why I watch boxing.

These young dudes need to get Manny and Mayweather the **** outta here and assert their dominance as the new top P4P Fighters! They need to fight each other... Porter vs Thurman Khan vs Garcia Maidana vs any of the 4..including a Khan rematch. Im all for it.

I dont know if its the best talent wise but damn there are several great fights to be made at WW now.

175 is the better but doesn't get as much attention because there aren't as many Americans and Mexicans at the top of the division

I think it's the best and the deepest. Pacquiao, Marquez, Porter, Thurman, Bradley, Maidana, Mayweather, Alexander and maybe the English fighters Khan and Brook and whatever other good welterweights I forgot. There is no doubt in my mind that welterweight is the best weight class in boxing right now. I hope the best will fight the best.

Yes. And the most popular with the two P4P kings fighting there. That helps bring attention. But there is no denying the division is stacked with tremendous talent.

It's stunted since many at WW wont be fighting each other, like how the CW division has become.
