Floyd can't have close fights when he literally takes every advantage from Maidana including his power by switching the gloves and then calls himself the best ever. He struggled against a guy who had NO advantage in any category. The only thing left for Maidana at that point was the weight. Not size, not length. He was fatter and slower than Floyd, yet still managed to take him into deep waters. That's why Floyd doesn't get credit.

On the flip side, if a fighter doesn't knock floyd down, they didn't win the round.

I wanted to see Maidana win but I'm not one of these sore losers that can't give Floyd credit. If you give them anything to clutch onto, they ignorantly and shamelessly run with it, overexaggerating what took place because it makes them feel like less of a loser.

Floyd will always have his haters but excuses like "I gave the fans what they wanted" gives his haters more fuel for their fire. Excuses like that discredit the work his opponent did.
