Do you know that you can knead gloves while they're still in the plastic wrap to soften the knuckle area. I'm not implying that Garcia or anyone from Maidana's camp would sink that low. But its been done by others seeking to get an edge!!! In a perfect world, neither team should have access to the gloves they're going to fight in during championship fights. Its very easy to have the custom gloves made and shipped directly to the commission for inspection and all the individual teams have to do is pick the brand and the color. This way, no body but the commission touches the gloves. There are too many ways to manipulate packed gloves to both soften and shift the material around.

Damn, this TS is am ignorant bish, making 6 threads about the same thing. They made the blue ones for the fight, the blue ones have less padding in the knuckle. The commission immediately rejected them upon inspection because of said padding issues. Everything posted in the first post is just regurgitated damage control propaganda from the everlast rep. Nether the blue pairs or red pairs were touched before the controversy by anyone from Maidanas team. -Fight night gloves are shipped directly to the commission. -The red gloves and blue gloves are the exact same -The blue gloves were shipped in suran wrap due to the custom paint, hence the look of being used. The red gloves were packaged in an air tight sealant. -Directly from an EA rep. All MX gloves are made the same. Custom gloves change paint only. -Initially Ellerbe felt the blue gloves and said block these, they then felt the red gloves and said block these two. WHY? Co-sign! Nothing will be cleared up by this thread .... nothing!!! You have guys that hate Floyd on one side and those that like him on the other side. These two sides will never agree to disagree ... Search the forum, it the truth!!! I'll be the first to admit to be a layman on this matter. With that said i would love it if today various of the other pro boxers test the blue gloves and give their opinion on it. IMO only a few people have touched the gloves in dispute and the few that have arent neutral IMO.
