He's beginning to comprehend how hard of a fight Marcos Maidana is going to be. This is the type of guy he usually avoids and Floyd is in for a rough night. I think this fight is going to be tougher for Floyd than it has to be. Let's keep it real for a hot minute: Floyd's obviously messed up mentally right now. It's as clear as day. Like I said before. Mayweather does seem a bit off this fight week (sonogram? Wtf?) and at this age it may be hard for him to get up and focus fully for this kind of fight -- especially coming off a career high payday and possible career defining win. But even at this advanced stage of his career I find it hard to pick against him when he's facing someone he would've destroyed when he was younger and should handle with relative ease now.

Maidana is one of my favorites. I never had to buy into anything. Fight was always going to be viewed by me. You're buying into the hype that he's actually got a chance to win

Mayweather does strike me as being a little more mentally volatile than usual going into this one. But I think the biggest question mark in every fight going forward will be his age. Maidana is a guy who will make him feel it if his body starts acting like its 37.
