With Mitchell being a former college linebacker, I wonder if football may have made his chin worse. Either way his chin was not the only issue. He was too flatfooted with no head movement.
He will never be champion, but so what? Plenty of good fights out there for him.
Mitchell-Adamek
Mitchell-Cunningham
Mitchell-Mansour
Mitchell-Tarver
Mitchell-Haye?
Dude is exciting, ill watch him any time.
Seth is a very likeable guy, he seems down to earth. I think he could make a good living fighting ESPN-level opponents. He's definitely not world class and will never be.
Wlad's a rare exception
glass jaw found out at HW usually means "going nowhere"
don't expect Mitchell to accomplish a damn thing
he'll be a journeyman and likely retire in another yr or 2
"....seemed like he really wanted to be a great fighter."
Don't agree. I got the sense that he just did boxing because he was "good at it". I'm pretty sure he said exactly that.
Just a shame his chins weak. As a person he is what young fighters should look upto. A gentleman and he makes people like him due to his polite manner. I would have preferred someone like Mitchell to have had an iron jaw because that is what the sport needs a heavyweight who is just as well mannered as the K bros but just as deadly when required.
football hits him on the chin and he's out cold
Don't know if it's true or not but I heard that back in his college days a strong safety completely whiffed on taking him out but the wind gust from the whiff was strong, caught him on the chin, and he was out cold for 20 minutes.
He got back up doe and kept playin
