Canelo/Mayweather II rhetoric has to stop

What's the point of this? Canelo is inferior to Floyd in every single way. The only shot he's got at beating him is either a) wait until Floyd gets even older or b) fight him as many times as possible and then by chance at some point win one of those fights. Canelo doesn't deserve a rematch. He can't punch and technically Floyd is on another level. So again, what's the point?

You mean another catch weight ? It would matter at any weight. Canelo will shut down like he did in the first fight. Floyd gives so many different looks and Canelo will just stop throwing punches. He won't take any chances.

I guess the referee stopped the Canelo - Angulo fight because Angulo was hitting Canelo so much he was worried Angulo might hurt his hands. The fight I saw was Canelo giving Angulo a totally one sided beating and getting hit very little in return. You have a strong dislike for Canelo but I think he is going to be a very important winning fighter for many years to come.

Everybody does not have to agree with you and share your views. Canelo is a damn good fighter. He fucing destroyed Angulo. He won every round by a mile and was not hit much at all. Floyd has great respect for Canelo and said he will be a champion again. If Canelo was gun shy against Trout then why was Trout the one who got knocked on his ass? If Canelo knocks Lara out and people want to see him fight Mayweather again at a fair weight of 154 then it's too bad if you don't like it. Mayweather is great but he has perfected his skills and can only get older but not better. Canelo is only 23 and getting stronger and better all the time.

Listen Canelo barely beat Trout and was gun shy for most of the fight. When Canelo fought Floyd he barely threw any punches. Canelo was hit a lot in the latter part Angelo fight. Floyd/Canelo II would be the exact same results so let's halt these talks. You mean another catch weight ?

I'm one of the biggest Canelo fans and just, no. Just, no. This match up sucks donkey dicks. They're two completely different fighters that do not match up well for a good fight. Mayweather is looking to win rounds and Canelo is looking for someone to trade shots with, this fight sucks on so many levels. Canelo could never beat Floyd at Floyd's game, and if for some reason Floyd decided to fight Canelo's fight he would end up in the ER. That is all.

If Canelo beats Lara convincingly, a full fledged rematch at 154 would semi interest me. Of course other possibilities may interest me more, but I wouldn't cry about it, as Canelo would be the clear best fighter at 154 behind Floyd.

If Canelo beats Lara, then its definitely a legit fight. Doesn't mean I care to see it tho. Another easy win for Floyd. Canelo should move up to middleweight honestly
