Was I the only one who clearly saw that he wasn't moving right after the 3rd or 4th rd? His calf clearly played a role on how the fight went... Just sayin. It hasn't really been discussed, so I'm going to be that guy.
I understand the thing about the leg being messed up.
I heard him tell his trainer that is was.
but.....
Ive witnessed a man win a fight with a dislocated arm.
Ive witnessed Floyd Mayweather win many fights with a Broken Hand.
so...
While I understand the thing about the injury,
One also has to work on other facets of his boxing, game so just in case you become immobile in a match, you can be stationary and use your upper body and defense/countering to win a match.
That's fate,
but its also part the fighter's fault for not training/preparing himself for Everything.
You must work on every aspect of your game.
his movement was limited because he gassed throwing those wild haymakers and from getting tagged as well. the calf injury might have played a role, but to say that that was the reason the fight turned around is ignorant. we will never really know how bad it was and when it happened, bradley's trainer said it was in the first round, even though you dont hear them talk about it in the corder in between rounds.
give pac some credit, he adjusted after that 4th round shoryuken from bradley.
I had it...3-2 Bradley after 5. But a very close 3-2. The 5th round was very close...not much action in that round. It could've gone to PAC. 3-3 after 6 rounds.
Anyways, only round I gave Bradley after that was the 11th. PAC wore him out the 1st 5 or 6 rounds, and Timmie simply had nothing left.
8-4 PAC was my final score.
bradley better do some calf raises, squats, lunges etc.
bc lugging around that huge upper body on those toothpick legs got all his movement looking rediculous
Of course it played a role. A lot of people just want to believe that it's an excuse and whatever. Fighters get hurt. I actually say this fight was closer than the last fight. But whatever. What I don't like is HBO trying to minimize it as much as possible and basically ignoring during the actual fight when Bradley said plain as day in his corner that he pulled a calf muscle.

Think about it. Why is Bradley having a lower body problem everytime he fought Pac but not against Provo or Marquez, etc...? Do you think because of Pac unique angles and Bradley trying to keep up in a balance position.
Why didn't you note that Manny started the fight with issues with his legs too? Manny mentioned it in his interview. So kind of evens out.
Also, the contributing factor to whatever Bradley experienced in both fights was due to Manny. Just think about it, Bradley is fine with every other fight, leg's wise, except for both of Manny's.
Was completely unaware of this... And it didn't show in the fight like it did for Bradley.
Yes, I agree that Pacs movement probably caused the injury.

Lucas fans always with an excuse
What are you talking about? I picked Pac to win convincingly, he did that. Why would I make an excuse to discredit my pick?
Certain events deserved to be discussed within fights... Understand that.
BTW, I agree with the assessment that Pacs movement cause Bradley to get hurt. I'm just trying to get this t be discussed, because it has largely been ignored.
It's the same as Arreola's nose injury against Stiverne. If the opponent causes the injury, and considering Bradley injured his legs during both fights against Pacquiao we can assume Pacquiao was the cause, it is negligible.
The fact that it occurred in both fights means there is something about Pacquiao that Bradley simply cannot cope with. It's unfortunate for him because he certainly looks good with both legs under him. But that was a decisive win for Pacquiao and while his performance wasn't mind-blowing, credit shouldn't be taken away from him.
Yea just like the injury that jmm caused pacman in the 6th... Like said before, it was pacs awkward punches and angles that make Bradley try and keep up but couldn't, in turn he injures himself... Opponent inflicted, that's it

Athletes sustain injuries during events all the time. Some are serious enough for a fighter to withdraw others aren't as serious. Speculation on Tim being hampered because of said calf injury doesn't hold water to me in regards to his loss. When your faced with adversity or a limitation arrives you adapt and move on. When a fighter faces a tko because of abrasions or cuts there's no reason to say if he didn't suffer the injuries he could have won. Cuts abrasions and injuries are a big part of contact sports and if you suffer any of these trials they shouldn't have anything to do with your opponent's positive outcome. Tim was able to compete and not withdraw and he deserves credit for that and in the future his leg cramping should be addressed, it's becoming a chronic problem it seems.
Ray.
Well his movement was visibly hampered by this specific injury. I think that holds some water.
3-2 bradley? go through my post i am one of the biggest bradley supporters on this site no way was it that close brad only won 3 rounds the entire fight
After 5 rds? Ya, 3-2 Bradley was a pretty standard score, and then the 11th was all he won after the 5th.
Naw, Bradley said it happened earlier then that, and everyone pretty universally had it 3-2 Bradley after five.
