Is Andre Ward covering Froch vs. Groves II for HBO?

I watched a fight with BS Showtime commentary that makes a living fooling people like you. 118-110 is a joke of a score. 115-113 or 116-112 is more like it. I don't care what commentary you were listening to, no way in hell Froch won more than 3 rds at the very most.

Ward's butt hurts so much right now that he aint commentating. I hope not, but then again it'll be funny seeing how extremely bitter he's going to be seeing all of the fans and money a Froch event brings in compared to his hometown clinchfests in Oakland. He's really boring though. :lol1: :lol1:

Whatever Ward does or doesn't do is fine...He's EARNED it. At least he's not fighting bums of such low quality HBO won't even air that crap. Ward's last OPPONENT just made more than GG ever has....lol As for Kovalev.... Ward would beat 7 shades of shi.t outta' that blabber mouth.....that's IF he's still around when Ward moves up... Sure Ward could do whatever he want's he is a man and can do his own choices but then he shouldn't act all bitter and insulted when other men do what they feel is right for their careers. If Froch fights Kessler or Groves or whatever and Golovkin goes for Chavez jr that's their choice. Ward does bring less to the table but he feels entitled. Thats wrong, he aint't entitled to nothing cause most people don't want to see him fight. He is the greatest at 168, good for him, be content with that and let the other guys have their money.

Wards opponent just made more than most of the foreign fighters you worship.:lol1: Who is going to earn more money this year from boxing? Froch or Ward? GGG will earn more than Ward? Ward will be luck if he can get a fight. He might earn more as a commentator than a fighter. Maybe if he stepped outside his back garden every now and again he might actually get a fight against a decent opponent. And lets not try to drain any more light heavies

I would assume. It's his job after all, he's a commentator now, right? Ward needs a second job his first one is not paying enough and he keeps on losing work to less skilled foreign workers

If anybody should take some risks it's Golovkin. GG is matched like he's 22 instead of 32:lol1: Ya'll want Ward to move up but not GG...what kind of crap is that? Trust me... You do not want Ward to move up... He would CRUSH Kovalev. Yeah i agree Golovkin should take risks but it dosen't seem like he will in his next fight so what should Ward do just wait around and hope that Golovkin or Froch or Chavez jr fights him? That's a bad business move, it makes him seem desperate. What he could do is take some risks and move up to fight guys that want to fight him, like Kovalev. That might strenghten his fanbase and bargaining position. He might win against Kovalev or he might lose but he will not crush him, for sure.

I agree. He probably wants that JCC jr money before he heads up. I really don't want to see a rematch with Froch or Kessler or anyone else because the result will be the same. 175 presents intriguing opportunities for him. I don't really anxiously await for his fights though he is talented. Just not my cuppa. yeah its hard to be excited by the safety first approach and below average punching power. If he fought Stevenson or Kovalev that would be a risk, that would bring excitement and he would improve his status if he won. Chavez jr seems to go for golovkin, i guess ward could wait for the winner but that might turn out bad if golovkin goes back to 160 for cotto martinez winner.

Ward is not a fan freindly fighter and he dosen't make it easier by not fighting that often and being unwilling to travel. He should go to 175, that would be exciting and he could be in some big fights.

I've heard Ward will only commentate on the fight if its held in Oakland.

They are probably both have some worries. Froch, because he already knows groves can knockout him down any time or maybe knocked him out as well. Groves, he is not sure if he can stand the pressure that froch is going to give him this time around, as evidenced by the last fight; he looked helpless as froch bombarded him with flurries, resulting in stoppage whether he deserved it or not.

Yeah he's a part time fighter, full time commentator at this point. I don't think he enjoys boxing anymore. I think he still does, but he loves screwing himself over. Dude put himself on ice when he could've had an opponent for the Spring
