Richard Schaefer using Manny Pacquiao name to sell Mayweather fights

They both shamelessly bring eachother's names up when they have fights coming up. It's annoying. I gotta disagree. Pacquiao mentions Mayweather when he's asked. Mayweather tweets about Pacquiao, has started a press conference for another fight by saying Manny is next, and this mention by Shaefer is not only a terrible comparison, but he's actually trying to use Manny to make the general public think Maidana is something he's not. It's understandable though. Mayweather is considered the best, but Manny is more exciting, more popular, and more loved. Plus 99% of boxing fans in the world wants Mayweather and Manny to fight, and if you can trick a few people into thinking this Maidana is the next Manny, it might sell a few more PPVs. It does expose anybody who knows a little about boxing just how full of it Richard Shaeffer is.

Only the Pac fanatics would not see this as Schaefer thinking highly of Pac. He's not using his name to sell or do anything... When people called Pac a mini Tyson it wasnt to sell his name. :/... People reach this badly? Pac is currently the ultimate compliment to be called if youre an agressive fighter. He fights nothing like Pacquiao though. =/ This would be like Bob Arum saying Bradley was the next Mayweather. I don't mind the Matthyse comparison, but Maidana?

He's floyd's promoter so of course he is going to use Manny's name to sell his fights. Him, Floyd and oscar have been doing this for 6 years now.

Richard really trying to get the viewers to buy in Young PACQUIAO! hoping they believe he has a chance to beat Floyd, the casual fan will picture a super fast ferocious awkward combo puncher, and than when they buy the fight they see Carlos Baldomir part 2

Richard, what does it matter how "awkward" Maidana is if he's not in range? Floyd is going to jump back fifty feet every time. Mayweather is going to land his potshots and roll under and duck away so easily it'll be disgusting. This might possibly be one of the easiest fights of Floyd's career.
