I think so.
First he lost to Bradley on points then got KTFO by Marquez,
If he gets a beating again like last time I think he should call it a day.
What do you think?
Pac still has some left to go through another 3 to 4 fights. He’s still in the elite level and still has the capability to give Floyd a run for his money.
he should have hung his gloves up right after the marg fight
That would have been a good time to do so actually, for me Pac is done at the elite level and am talking about the (2009 level).

Like others have said, it depends on how it were to happen(basically only a KO would change my mind or if he said he doesn't love it anymore)...other than that it's a definite no.
If Pac loses by a decision, he should rage on. If he gets KO'd (extremely unlikely) then maybe, especially since Tim isn't any kind of KO artist. Tim might have adapted and studied enough film to be able to mess with Pac's game this time. Tie him up and take away his ability to move around and tap him up with combinations breaking from the clinch. Pac would get frustrated and let his guard down......walk right into a right...if you know what I mean.
I personally think he should, I think he should have maybe before or even after the first Bradley fight.
Not because I don't think he is done for, not because I think he is so shot he is going to just continue to lose. His legacy is cemented, hopefully he saved some of his money, he has nothing else to prove. The Floyd fight clearly isn't happening for whatever reason, and aside from Floyd I don't really have much interest in who he faces.
On the reverse of that, the guy still has plenty of fight in him, he is mid 30s, has a few more good years. Has he slipped? Yeah, a little bit. Getting KO'd by your biggest rival and ATG, and losing to Bradley officially(winning in the eyes of most) who himself could go on to be an ATG isn't that bad. His legacy can't be tarnished, what he earned he already earned, any losses accrued won't mean anything especially if they are to that caliber of fighter. I don't see anyone else 147-140 that I think beats him, why not collect more paydays and rack up some more wins?
I would prefer him to retire though, his legacy is cemented. I don't think he will have enough to beat Bradley this time out though personally, so I don't like him heading out on a loss. I would also him rather never fight Floyd unless it's in Sept. The fight lost its luster, we don't need to see two shot to pieces former greats battling it out 5 years after they should. It would still be an interesting fight to watch, but would never truly answer the questions we want answered.
Why do you have a picture of D. Rose grimacing in your sig.....you throwin shots man?
Hell no. He's working hard to make a comeback in that pic. Rose will rise again.
Bradley shouldn't have got the nod in the first fight, that being said it was a boring fight and what damage was done was small and done in small patterns...Manny should have got the nod, Bradley did nothing to warrant being champion and brings nothing to the table outside of having an a lister to fight him...Now, if Manny loses lopsidedly or is somehow KO'd which seems next to impossible, then yeah he may want to consider hanging them up at 147, I think he could still get big KO's at 140 if he did lose the 2nd fight.
That being said, I think Bradley will have to use every headbutt and dirty tactic he has ever used to get manny out of there, at best he gets a UD. So I think Bradley still will have to fight harder than he ever has to win, not Manny.
If he LEGITIMATELY loses to Bradley unlike their first encounter then maybe it is time to hand them up.
If he KO's AlienHead then he should take on Thurman.
He isn't getting any younger after all.
Well it depends. If he loses a real close decision to Bradley and still looks good, then yeah I'd support that I guess. Would love to see him against GBP's roster in and around 147.
But, if he somehow loses a wide decision or even worse gets stopped then GBP or not he would need to hang it up. But I don't see either of those two things happening. If Bradley's going to win it seems like the only way that will be is via close decision. Who knows though I guess. The sport is so unpredictable.
Yeah man. Wide decision or by some miracle a KO or something like that, gotta hang em up. I wouldn't even want to see him in there anymore, and see lesser fighters make a name off him. Wouldn't be cool at all. Imagine how the Chavez Sr. fans felt when Oscar beat the crap outta him, twice.
Would you change your mind if he signed with GBP?

Depends how he loses, I don't think he could lose bad enough that he'd consider retirement.
True, but if he losses to Bradley his stock will drop big time, I'm sure he won't be making anywhere near close to what he's making now so if he takes another lost he should seriously consider hanging it up cause there's really no point to continue.
I'm a big MP fan.
But yes, IMO, if he loses I think he should ride off into the sunset. What's the point of continuing? The Floyd fight never happened and will never happen, and if he loses the rematch with Bradley what else is there? He won't get JMM with a loss so that would be out -- and then what? Provo?
There's nothing else left. I love watching him fight and it will be a sad day for me when he's no longer part of the sport, but the reality is, there would just be nothing else left to do.

If he loses clearly he should retire or else he'd just make the mistake of fighting for too long. I don't know what is the obsession of fighters that they feel like they need to get KTFO in order to see a sign that they need to retire. That shouldn't be the case, you have to retire on a respectable loss to good opponents.
I'm not sure Pac is done BTW, i'm not convinced. My theory has always been matchmaking, I saw the same Pac against Rios in 2013 as I did against De La Hoya in 2008. The increase in losses and bad performances I think are a product of increase in difficulty of opposition and fighting more versatile styles.
Who has PAC lost too since stepping up to difficulty of opponents when his only legit lost was to Marquez? lol.
to discredit yet another Bradley victory."Yet another". If you think he lost the first fight you should just get a screwdriver and poke your eyes out because they aren't any good for you. You might as well pop a marble into each socket afterward and call it a day.
