After Bradley beat Pac in 2012, he could'nt find an opponent, now Lucas Matthysse, after his spectacular KO of Peterson and losing to Danny Garcia last year, he finds himself with no one to fight.
I've read of a Postol-Aydin match taking place, as well as Robert Ortiz-Humberto Soto, seriously, will Matthysse thinks of fighting Provodnikov, who's also looking for an opponent. at 147, there's very little interest for Lucas to be paired against any contender out there, especially coming off a loss.
Isn't Garcia fighting Peterson after Herrera? Anyway, I don't see Danny ever giving Lucas a rematch - close fight, but it wasn't entertaining enough for GBP to pay for a rematch and to be honest, it was Matthysse's fight to lose, and he did just that.
He has plenty of options, he probably just taking his time to relax with his friends and family before jumping back in, But he has to fight at least once in the next 4 months, he needs a 4/6 rounds tune up under his belt and then am sure Pederson would be interested in a rematch if Lucas wants it. Lucas basically has to work harder to get himself back up there than anybody else.
Danny isn't going to rematch him soon, and after the 140 tourney he's kind of out of options there. He can find fights at 147 but he has to come back and win one first....he wasn't a mega draw before hand so he is going to have to work his way back up. Also 154....come on now no way does he fight there at least not for a long time.
I also think the only option for Matthysse soon is if Danny could give him a rematch which is very unlikely.
he will be back with a vengeance.. and his opponent will need these

How is he having trouble with GBP having a hold on 140-154?
Not saying he should fight a 154, but they hold a majority of the players there
There being the 140-154 range
