His last outing wasn't great but now that he has had more time has anyone send any clips/vids of any recent sparring sessions with him and does he look improved?
I'm not sure he has got worse, but I'm not sure he has improved either. In all honesty though I don't think it matters who trains Khan at any point of his career, and what I mean by that is that there are a lot of great trainers out there that could help him but as soon as he gets hit it all goes to **** no matter who trains him.
I actually don't mind Khan (I don't think he deserves a Floyd fight though) but his main issue is his chin and/or recovery powers, and there isn't a trainer out there that can solve that really, including Virgil.
Shame though because if Khan had a great chin and stayed at the Wildcard he could have been a lot more of a force in my opinion.
Just his elite level neck

Khan has improved in some ways but he's still finding his style. He whupped Diaz because of some of those improvements and it was his old ways which got him in trouble - techniques that Roach had sort of instilled into him. If Khan hadn't gone to Hunter it's quite possible he might have lost to Diaz becaue it's where he stood his ground and tried to brawl or throw quick multipunch combos, that's when he got in trouble. When Khan was boxing and moving for parts of the fight he literally dominated Diaz.
The only improvement any one can do for Khan is his matchmaking. Which wouldn't be an improvement, more like a downgrade. Downgrade his opponents power, give him light punchers and then he'll show "improvement".
There's nothing Hunter can do and contrary to what people believe about Roach, all he did was urge matchmakers to get him light punchers like Kotelnik, McCloskey, Malingaggi and just one big puncher that almost ended in disaster with Maidana. Roach didn't make Khan better under him.
Exactly. Khan was the epitome of the saying the best defense is a good offense. He looks like he's thinking too hard in there now.
and people with pea brains shouldn't think too much anyways, it's a bad combination all around.
yep
Khan is a brawler at heart, and it's strongly apart of his nature. He wants to improve his defense by boxing, but he's bad at it causing him to be worse off.

I'd say he has regressed. He's ill suited for the style Hunter is teaching him
Agreed. I'm no knocking Hunter's skills as a trainer but he just seems like the worst match ever for Khan.
I expected better after all that talk, but tbf to Virgil it takes time. Some fighters show immediate improvement, others take longer. But I feel like Amir should've looked better versus his last two opponents, just based on level of opposition.
Virgil seems like a legit trainer, but I'm not overly fond of him in recent times...he just comes across as a guy that makes excuses in defense of his fighters.
When his fighter got stopped by Matthysse, he insinuated there was PED use involved. When someone brought up Amir's chin he pointed at Manny Pacquiao and said, "at least Amir gets up." Lol, it's kinda comical. And his quotes regarding a potential Floyd fight with Amir do not inspire confidence in Khan, whatsoever.
As long as they have chemistry, I'm sure they'll make it work...I'm just not sure they have that chemistry with one another.

He got that elite level neck now doe

His thinking goes out the window when he gets hurt.
.
It also goes out of the window if he has to fight more than 5 rounds.
Exceptional talent, shocking trainers.
Brendan Ingle could've made him a REAL fighter.
He's the best 2-3 rounder in the world.
Anyone that can can survive a few rounds with Khan has a good chance. He's a good talent, but NEVER has a plan B, and his chin is garbage.
He has had two pro fights with Virgil and he looked like sh*t in both of them. He fought much better with Roach training him. I think Mayweather will make mincemeat out of Khan. Mayweather should easily win every round and shatter Khan's glass jaw and KO him within 5 rounds and there is nothing Hunter can do about it.

Julio Diaz tagging him hard in the 11th round and Khan's eyes glazed over and he went to war almost getting knocked down again.
