The picture, bro? I saw a documentary called "The Two Escobars." It's about Andres Escobar, the Colombian soccer player, who was killed after the 1994 World Cup, and Pablo Escobar, the drug lord, who was associated with the team. Rene Higuita, shown below, was the goalie for the Colombian soccer team, and the dude is crazy. Other players are talented, he's God gifted.

Yes that is a awesome documentary, Señor Escobar was untouchable. But life catches up as always.
These are my picks for Prospect Of The Year:
1. Naoya "Monster" Inoue
2. Miguel "Alacran" Berchelt
3. Alejandro "Cobrita" Gonzalez Jr.
4. Felix "Diamante" Verdejo
5. Errol "The Truth" Spence
Solid kids, look them up. I expect big things from them in the future.
Oh, and I don't consider Vasyl Lomachenko a prospect. At 25 years old, he's a damn grown man. The prospects I named are kids.
Nice to see this kid getting some acknowledgement. Only 20 too, definitely one too keep an eye on.
Loma is a rare breed that he never was/is/will be a prospect.
First he was a debuting ams. standout.
That went straight into a world title fight not just for a paperbelt against a real champion.
Oleksander Usyk
Naoya Inoue
i actually think it should be Felix Verdejo, esp since PR desperately needs a new staple champ (besides Danny, who the US claims)
but Loma is hard to shake. dude is fighting for a title in his 2nd pro fight
Ya Verdejo is a very skilled fighter with a very high ceiling. i dont know if he is my cantidate for prospect of the year but hes definatly in the top 3
With 1 fight?

lomachenko has peaked my interest the most, but he's a very odd case.
he fought once, and it was his debut. if that disqualifies him for some, i'm cool with that.
there aren't any young fighters who are still in the prospect stage that jump to mind immediately in front of the others. i'll even go so far as to say that there aren't a ton of young fighters who have peaked my interest.
Ya i understand that but before i spring to judgement i need to see him fight more than once. and if he fights salido next hes no longer a prospect.
Ali Raymi is ranked 10th at 105 lbs in boxrec rankings. I'd like to see any other prospect ranked as highly as that. All the paper champs at 105 have taken notice. Maybe he fights like an 11 year old because he is the size of an 11 year old. Besides I've seen some pretty good 11 year olds fight.
No other prospect is rated that high becuase theyre in a division with some competition. And how many undefeated Yemeni fighters can there possible be?

Anyone but Errol Spence. Im tired of the "Slick, Black, American" always being titled the next great thing, because they look smooth in the ring.
It's without a doubt Lomanchenko. He went from Prospect to title contender in one fight.

Ali Raymi, of course. Most prospects get fed bums, anyway. So, why not give the award to the guy who got fed the most amount of bums in 2013? My homey, Ali Raymi, fought 16 damn times in 2013.
All his fights have ended by first round KO. He's 20-0. 20 have tried, 20 have failed. You'd have to be a damn fool not to give the award to Ali Raymi. 15 of his opponents had undefeated winning records, and 5 were debuting opponents.
I'm not even joking either, I mean, the facts speak for themselves. Like I said, all prospects get fed bums, anyway. So, what's the rebuttal against my homey, Ali Raymi, getting the nod?
