Money May must fight Manny

I would very much like to see this fight, but I would love to see Pac fight the cream of the crop at 140-147 instead of the Top Rank rematches.. Forget Floyd for a sec and think about Pac against Maidana, Thurman, Lucas, Ortiz ect!!! Very intense fights they would be..I wasn't even always a fan of Floyd but I do see how Arum has used Floyd's name to raise Manny's ceiling!! Now Pac has been going through it with Arum for YEARS over his money, just got knocked out by a very overrated Marquez, so Floyd would be a fool to give them half of anything!! Floyd has really earned his place in boxing so for anybody to say the fight can't happen because Floyd is scared, and Floyd should give Pac X amount of money is truly ridiculous. Floyd offered Pac a large sum of money and Pac laughed so now Floyd should offer him a smaller, large sum of money or tell Pac to take a hike and keep doing what Floyd is doing which is facing the best current group of fighters available while Pac fights bums to see if he still got it:poke: 1st underlined - another condition pac has to commit to before getting a floyd fight ? 2nd underlined - and floyd does the same, so you can cancel that out the equation because its a non factor. hell, every potential fight being made, names are thrown out there to promote a fighters stock. again pac getting money out of it regardless how big shouldnt be a problem for floyd specially to his fans, why? because we are not getting any of it but we get to see floyd fight pac. last underlined - just because floyd said he offered pac money doesnt mean its true, floyds history of contradictions says so. who can with a snap of his fingers make the fight materialize. - floyd who can deal a fight without a troublesome promoter - floyd everybody deserves the blame. but we cant overlook the contradictions and the erratic movements of the goal post. like pac said he and floyd can manage without facing each other. that is understandable but as a fight fan i'd want it to happen, floyd fans should actually want this more to remove all doubt about his greatness or lack there of.

Although I have great respect for both fighters this situation is a slap in the face to the boxing fans/supporters.. The fact that while Money May fights over the hill fighters, Or young talent on the way up, But refuses to fight Manny and still is able to earn millions from it is crazy, to put it mildly. Unfortunately this situation for a part has been created by us the boxing community!! I don't want to rubbish May as he is a great fighter hands down possibly one of the best But this has got to stop, I can't believe that he has been able to side step this fight yet he talks of greatness.. Yes we want to see May fight a solid fighter and Manny ticks all the boxes.. I am asking all Money Fans to call for this fight, You fight his corner, you argue his point, you pay for his fights, you make him rich!! But think about it is he not short changing you? This long lasting argument about who will win shouldn't be put on his supporters.. A real champion, champions his people, and in boxing that would be in the ring.. I know there are going to be May fans ready to Jump up and down on my balls right now, But I don't dislike May, I just love the sport of boxing, And when you have a champion who is top of the tree and will not fight the only person who can trouble him "that's my opinion".. This really makes a mockery of the sport don't you think.. That's not what boxing is about.. Now or Never One more fight for Pac, especially against Bradley and ends really bad for Bradley then Pac is really back. Floyd, shouldn't wait for that confidence to be back, or else it would be 2009 kind of trouble again. And we know what FMJj did back in 2009. He has to pick it now like picking greenhorn Canelo before he becomes really developed as a fighter.

No, it will be 2014 in a couple days. 4 years, some bad outings and a brutal ko removed from when the fight "should" have happened. If it decides to be made, it'll be a Floyd cherrypick and a Pacman cashout.

Why are some people acting like Manny didn't turn this fight down already? ITS quite clear floyd has thrown multiple roadblocks for this fight to happen. Just like what he did with prime cotto and margarito.

Floyd knew he could sit back and let the other fighters bash Pacman's brains in. Floyd is a highly defensive fighter, so fights don't take much of a toll on him. Pacman is an aggressive fighter, so he becomes battle worn more quickly. Manny's condition has deteriorated so much, Floyd would win every round.

Floyd doesn't need to fight Pac anymore piss drinker took care of that problem for him already for that reason, the fight likely will happen within the next yr Floyd will be all too eager to face Pac in Pac's current form

So you're saying Manny isn't over the hill at this point? The guy was knocked out cold against an old JMM just two fights ago and didn't look good against Bradley prior to that. Sure he looked good beating on a B/C level fighter in Rios in his last fight but Manny of 4 or 5 years ago would have destroyed him. The truth is Manny is past it and should Floyd fight him and beat him that's what the excuse will be, "Floyd waited till Manny was finished. He would have lost if they fought back in 2010". And that's exactly how Floyd will be remembered. I know for damn sure this fight is happening now, I said it years ago that I'm not interested in this fight happening because by that point, Manny had struggled against JMM in their 3rd fight. I may have been using another username LOL But I'd still like to see the fight because even an old Manny is the toughest fight Floyd ever has, sadly it's a lose lose situation for him now.

We have been through this for about four years now and we havent got nearer to this mega-fight becoming a reality. I dont think the issue is not anymore about drug testing, about working with Arum or even about business or money. This fight is still the biggest money-maker today not only for Manny but for Floyd too. But Floyd wouldnt fight. Why? First, FMJ is not scared of fighting Manny per se but there's more to it. FMJ, even if he says it otherwise in his interviews, still believes in himself that Pacquiao is still the one guy who may actually beat him. Not in a KO but on a decision. He may be the best defensive fighter but the sheer volume of punches that Manny would create may have an impact on the judges which will make him vulnerable to an L. He believes that his legacy is built around being undefeated until he retires and he believes that it should be the only basis to define who is the sport's greatest ever. Given this situation, its not a surprise that he'll do as much as he can to avoid the nearest person most capable of ruining this. Up until Mayweather removes that doubt on himself, we will never see this fight come true. What even makes more it more difficult for him is that 99% of all the people -- boxing people, journalists, everyday people and even die-hard Pacquiao fans honestly believe FMJ will win against Manny. Even Pacquiao dont fully believe he'll win against Floyd when he's asked about it. When all the people are rooting for you but deep inside you, you have that doubt in yourself, it changes the way you think. You can just click on Youtube and go see Floyd mumbling or goes on full rant whenever there's a mention of Pacquiao. He clearly said he's not fighting Manny in his next outing, but as you have observed lately on social media, he's firing off childish memes of Pac when he should be highlighting on his next opponent. Pac should be easy pickings for Floyd now after Manny getting ripped by Marquez and still earn the biggest purse possible for him today, but he still chose not to. Why? Manny may have lost to Timmy, but guess who's on the wheelchair and taken immediately on the hospital? Marquez did a great punch to KO Manny but prior to that he was being mugged black and blue. Pacquiao has already gotten into Floyd's head and is like that closet monster that a kid used to be afraid of when he was young. All the clamor for the fight is useless up until Floyd gets that little dark thought of the "Manny Monster" out of his imaginary world. :alcoholic
