Who would win a fight between Lucas Matthysse and Marcos Maidana?

I did not vote because for me the fight is to close to call. I think you should have put a draw or undecided option in your poll.

lol @ the people picking this fight to end in a decision. :D exactly. It would be war, but I'd go for Lucas winning due to overall better boxing. Wouldnt be surprised though if Chino's power, toughness and better/smarter corner manages to win the fight. It would be pretty close unless there's one of those nite-nite KO which both boxers are more than capable of delivering.

and who has Lucas beat other than shot low testosterone count pederson Soto, Alexander and Zab. Lucas owned Alexander badly. I was in St Louis for Alexander-Maidana. Alexander beat his ass and made him look like a nobody.

Maidana just isn't on Matthysse's level. I'm convinced that the first and only Maidana fight 90% of Boxing Scene has watched is the Broner fight. Lucas has a better chin on him and Maidana isn't exactly a hard fighter to hit so I pick Lucas to drop him a few times and possibly stop him.

Maidana beat some Anabolic Bertroids clone so he K.Os everyone outside of Floyd suddenly. Lucas obliterates him man. He is better in every area & would break Maidana in half with bodyshots.

Lucas doesn't fight Marcos... I don't think they could punch each other... But as a "fantasy fight" I would take Lucas -- he's more charismatic...

I think Lucas is a better fighter.

I like Maidana in this one. El Chino has fought and beat better opposition. Though I like Matthysse I feel like he is a small 140-pounder. Also Maidana is a freakishly strong bull. Look at his fights. He backs up every opponent. The guys power is awesome. Another thing. Maidana is a technical brawler with good footwork. Proof: Round one in Broner fight he took a tiny step back when Broner was going in for a clinch and landed a right hand. A sloppy brawler would have just smothered himself. There's more to Maidana than people think.

This would be an amazing fight, and it would be so hard to predict. Both have great power and determination, but both can be hit. It would be a war imho, but I see Maidana edging out somehow, don't know if its a KO or decision but I see him winning.

I've said it a million times, Lucas is a hype job and is no where near elite level. He gets KO'd within 6 rounds

MAaidana wins I must say I am very impressed with his work against broner, I like have he throws that left hook as if its a jab to the body, confusing broner. That right hook that comes above got through the philly shell and ****ed broner up. He not only outpowerd broner, he out smarted him

This is difficult to predict but if I had to, I would pick Maidana by decision. I think the fight would be a war but I think that Maidana works the body and throws better and more fluent combinations then Matthysse which would make the difference in my opinion.
