Maidana deserves a Floyd payday!

I wonder how much he got paid against Broner. It was probably like 200K or something pathetic like that. He deserves a 2M pay day. he's with al haymon so probably more than that. his highest payday was 500K against khan, as far as i know.

Of course Maidana deserves it. He lives in a duplex when in the U.S. and has a guy bring him lunch in a tupperware bowl and he cooks it on a paper plate. For selfish reasons I want Maidana to get the fight; Khan knows if he doesn't Floyd fight now he will have to wait another year for the shot; with Ramadan being in summer thats 30 days inclunding Eid that he wouldn't be able to train for a Sept fight. Plus he'll earn a lot more money getting beat up by Floyd then he would fighting anyone else.

It would be a departure from form. Floyd fights champions or guys coming off of impressive wins. Yeah but it's not about what Floyd does or Floyd wants, it's about who the fans want to see him fight (or at least it should be). When people talk about the next FMJ opponent, for some reason they talk about who deserves the payday rather than who they want to see him fight.

Come to think, I have changed my stance a bit. I still think Khan fight would be more competitive and all things equal Id rather see that. It's irrelevant to use the "Khan beats Maidana" excuse to justify Mayweather-Khan as a better fight in comparison, it simply doesn't prove anything. It's all about the right timing, and lately, Maidana has been in a better position to earn a fight against Floyd than Khan has. Maidana is currently on a four fights winning streak against solid opponents, whilst, Khan has struggled and got dropped three times in his last four fights. It's like saying, "Marquez knocked out Manny". So what? It's still doesn't mean that people would want Mayweather-Marquez II to get made over Mayweather-Pacquiao. I don't know why Showtime even entertain the idea of a Mayweather-Khan fight. Maidana, Porter, and Thurman deserves to be in the Mayweather sweepstakes more so than, Khan.

I'd have Floyd winning, but wouldnt be surprised either if Maidana finishes him worse than Broner. If Maidana can keep up for 12 rounds like he did against As Beaten, then Floyd will have to be at the top of his game to avoid getting murdered. Victor Ortiz was giving Floyd hell until Floyd pulled his BS. Floyd isn't perfect, but I think Money does to Maidana what we all though Broner was going to do. Marcos is too wide and slow to land flush on Floyd and he's going to eat that straight right constantly. first off, let me make this very clear...i don't give a flying fuck what you pacquiao and mauweather fanboys think. Maidana deserves the mayweather payday, not khan as the flomos would want, just so floyd can finally have a legit ko on his record, and specially not pacquiao, as pactards would want it now that arum gots no stars and their hero is broke and desperate. Maidana has put on great, entertaining fights for us and gotten rid of the overhyped, trash talking mayweather wannabe, bum in broner. Fans shouldn't care about the payday, Maidana is already a millionaire (multi-million in Argentina), fans should push for the fights they want to see. Who do you want to see Floyd fight? that's the question you should be asking yourself when it comes to May 3rd. You're boxing fans, not fans of a man's wallet size.

You cant have it both ways, you cant say maidana deserves the payday n then call out Floyd for cherrypicking a flat footed fighter And that's the thing. To avoid that mess, Floyd can fight Lara and be done with it. Maidana statistically deserves it, Khan nor Pacman do. But Maidana should lose the fight and we all know it.
