what happened to Gonzalez vs mares Dec. 14

Santa Cruz is a good fighter but is his opponent worthy or will it b a one sided whooping

I dont think they were ever intended to fight on Dec 14th. Victor Ortiz was supposed to fight Carlos Molina for the IBF Belt but the IBF wouldnt allow it. There's still three good fights on the card. Santa Cruz is exciting and the Thurman/Soto Karass bout should be good.

There were some reports that the deal initially fell through because of (surprise, surprise) disputes over purses, or that it got pushed back because Mares wanted to take the rest of the year off.
