How you think this fight would be,with both in their primes, while I think this would be a great fight, this style if purely Offensive Master vs Defensive Master. So overall I believe the fight would be similar locche vs fuji.
Since when was Fuji ever an offensive master?
Whatever the case, it wouldn't remotely resemble that fight as neither fought anything like the two you're talking about.
Floyds offense is much greater than Locche's, and Pac is ten times the fighter Fuji was and doesn't fight anything like him.
Why do people keep perpetuating this myth that Pac is an offensive master and that offense is better than Floyd's? It ain't!
He is quick and powerful and does throw from different angles(I'm so sick of hearing about the angles though, if Morales and Marquez can see them, Floyd can as well). But he is also VERY repetitive, has NO JAB, not very accurate, can't fight on the inside, can't cut off the ring and can ONLY fight on the front foot .
Floyd can fight going forward, backward, counter punch, use every punch in the book, can fight on the inside, from the outside and is the most accurate offensive fighter in the history of compubox.
The truth is, this fight has will always be about how easy Floyd wants to make it. He can make it a very boring fight, stand in the middle of the ring, stay on outside, use his reach, catch him coming in and potshot Pac to death. He could stand in front of Pac, make him miss, while walking him down(don't tell me he can't he did it to Canelo and Mosley). Pac doesn't fight well going backwards, so this wouldn't be good for him. He could just use footwork and movement all night to confuse him since Pac doesn't deal well with movement. He could tie him up and make it a fight on the inside. There are a countless ways that Floyd can win this fight, because there are so many glaring weaknesses in Pac's game. The same cannot be said for Floyd because whatever his opponent does, Floyd adjusts. After 4 fights, Pac still hadn't adjusted to the same straight right of Marquez.

I am a huge Manny fan and dislike Floyd in general but I still think this question is the exact reason why we never saw the fight!
Floyd was very unsure of how he would do vs manny, so he really didnt want it. I dont think he was scared, just not 100% confident like he likes to feel in the ring
IMHO, floyd would have won by UD...... but Manny had the best chance of breaking the philly shell and breaking floyd... sigh
Oh the possibilities...
there's a reason cherrypicker is named cherrypicker... he ducked a prime pac
There is a reason why Pac was afraid of needles back in the time and is now demanding stricter testing to fight a glorified brawler
Owned!!!!!!!!!!
Being overly offensive make you get punched and lose points...
or make you take a nap on the canvas
overly defensive does'nt make you score points either....and we've seen that with floyd just againts fighters way too inferior to pac ...

offense is the best defense....
you don't get points on pure defense....

Floyd beats manny easy
Floyd has other worldly defense AND a great offense
manny has a great offense and mediocre defense

Prime PAC got beat up on by Marquez and past it morales. Floyd schools manny, easy work
floyd does not have a mexican heart.........
otherwise, floyd could have "schooled" pac way way back.....
I heard Floyd failed Geometry in high school.
Pacquaio beats him. Too many angles.
he he he he......
i like this one............
geometry!!!.....angles!!!....
