Bradley was a bad style match up for marquez and now people are calling marquez shot/old but I still feel that marquez would go 3-0 vs rios, alvarado, and ruslan though. Agree or disagree?
Because of the way Tim fought him , I pointed that out , if Tim boxed like he did just now its an easy fight for him . elite fighters is more about technique , if they keep their cool and use their skills they beat the B grade slugger without much problem .
Maybe for Tim it's a one off, we'll see. But in all of JMM's better non Pac wins, he struggled against comp much less dangerous than these guys. You figure he was holding back or what?
idk
this was def a bad styles match up
but it wasnt just that
think marquez def did to show signs of losin a step or two
i mean the obvious is what was he thinkin
his main weapon to me is his intellignce
it failed in every which way
i saw it happenin this way
but marquez figuren a way late to close the gap and do some damage
but towrads the end he got more wreckless and almost got dropped
alvarado also a good stick n mover and def tough
to me alvarado and bradley skill set much same with alvardo prolly haven an edge
then rios and prov are both iron chinned punchers
what worried me was also marquez feet and conditioning
all three are much tougher fights then most are willing to admit
say he takes all three is what we woulda been sayin b4 this sat with bradley name in there
but really thinkin bout it and lookin at it
one more easy good bye fight somehwhere to go out on high note
and retire
bradley or any of these guys idk
is malanagi busy?
sad part tho.......
malanagi by pts too
:(
jk lol
or am i???
:(
Maybe not Alvarado. Alvarado is the only one of the three who can execute Bradley's game plan and take advantage of Marquez's shot legs.
He is nowhere near fleet footed enough , JMM will catch him .
Prov just gave Bradley a way tougher fight than JMM, and he's the "lowest class" of the 3

Juan would beat all three , I think their styles all suit Marquez and he could stop all of them , he wouldnt be wild and sloppy , he would be very precise ; and they come straight on to his power as Manny did which multiplies JMMs good power into big power ; and they all a lower class .
Those guys are not in this class unless you fight their fight which is a slug fest and they still lose but its much closer , the elite fighters only got to keep tight to beat this class pretty easy .

JMM had a chance to pick Rios last year from among a list, which included Alvarado, Gesta, etc, while waiting for the Pac 4. It was supposed to be held at Cowboys Stadium. He picked Gesta. Arum canceled it because he was asking too much money for an unknown opponent.
You're right those 2 guys are made for his style, however he's never fought anyone near as big and punishing as these guys. Remember he had issues with Katsidis and Juan Diaz (lol) physicality. These guys are a lot bigger, harder punching, durable.
That's true, great point! I think his ring IQ and intelligence will win him those fights though.
If you really know boxing, you would have known Bradley would win by decision against Marquez. Marquez excells when guys constantly pressure him/trade like Diaz, Michael K,, Pacquiao1/4.
No one make an excuse Marquez is 40, cuz he still looked prety damn solid, yes a bit slower/not throwing much.
Marquez can still beat alvarado, ...toss up with rios and ruslan though
that would be true normally but no one knew how bradley would look after the Prov fight. I picked Marquez assuming Prov damaged Bradley career.

The fact Marquez got dropped by Katsidis should be enough to give the 3 fighters a chance. Katsidis is a poor UK man's version of Rios(I know he's aus-greek).
I don't think he could beat all of them, because I don't think he has 3 fights left in him at the elite level. I do think he beats Rios and Ruslan, but Alvarado will be a little tougher if he boxes.
Marquez should be favored against all three of those, Alvarado can box a bit though he would give a tougher fight to Marquez of the three. Marquez doesn't like taking the lead and pushing the fight so Alvarado could force Marquez to try and attack.
