What do people mean by strong, like inside the ring?
Yeah I don't really understand what was meant by it either.
Clottey always looked like a strong welter-weight...that's my contribution.

Duran is one of the strongest ever. Started at 119 and went toe to toe with Iran Barkley who was about 175 inside the ring and massive compared to an old Duran.
For pure power Pipino Cuevas has to be there.
He had fk all for anything but his power, but realize this man had 13 defenses out of nothing but his bone crunching power, but he was so bad at anything else.
George Foreman
Emile Griffith
Jack Dempsey
Evander Holyfield
Jake Lamotta
Earnie Shavers
Mike Tyson
Tight list.
I'd add Castillo.
Maybe Frazier too.
While I agree with both of these posts, ^^^ no love for Marciano?
P4P you gotta have Pacquiao and Mosley in there
No.
Cotto has to be mentioned. Especially when he was at ww/jww. Mosley's a strong fighter and he did as he wanted with him when Mosley tried to clinch. Mosley manhandled Margarito.

Everytime I think of strongest boxers, I always think Sonny Liston, Rocky Marciano, George Foreman, Earnie Shavers, Marvin Hagler, Evander Holyfield, David Tua, Mike Tyson, guys like that
Strongest as in physical strength? Naturally George Foreman in his prime. Only about 220-225 lbs yet extremely strong, he was able to push back and dominate every opponent he ever faced in the clinch. It's like he did Greco Roman wrestling in his spare time.
