I didn't like Raging Bull even though I'm a Robert De Niro fan, partly because I don't like the wife-beating scumbag bully LaMotta. My top 5: 1. Cinderella Man 2. Kid Galahad (1938) 3. Million Dollar Baby 4. Gladiator 5. Gentleman Jim (story of James Corbett) I think the Rocky movies and The Fighter are overrated. Rocky 4 is one of my favorite movies of all time. I like 2-3 too but seeing him go to Russia to fight Drago was crazy! Lol I remember being a lil sh1t watching that movie and just being so hype!!!! It made me love boxing even more. guess cant enjoy those movies anymore I actually scored the fight had Drago winning 140-121 going to last round

Im to young and don't really care to see an old movie like that. I am sure you might be a great poster and don't take it personally, you might be a really knowledgeable poster for all I know, but this right here, is pure ignorance. "It's before my time so I don't care for it". This is the sad reality of todays society, the younger generation not caring to preserve and respect history. When something is truly great, or a classic, it's timeless. I hope you don't approach the sport of boxing the same way. The golden age of boxing is long gone, and if you choose to ignore the 30s-50s of boxing, then you are missing a major part of boxing history and knowledge, and your perception of boxing would change drastically.

those u listed were great but diggstown was the shiet with james woods. also the fighting ortegas, gladiator ( with cuba gooding jr), and dont forget the the great white hype( comedy with damon wayans,sam jackson, jamie fox, jeff goldbloom)

"The Champ" with Ricky Schroder should be on the list.....one of the best.

The action in Raging Bull was so cartoonish. Almost killed the movie. The Fighter: Markie Mark is such a terrible actor it took award winning performances from everyone else to save the movie. Cinderalla Man very underrated. I'd put it number 1.
