Thank you. There is nothing worse than an idiot mouthing off about a fighter they obviously have never seen fight.
You still going at it Manos? I've seen them fight, just stop. Napoles to me is a not a counter puncher combo guy like Marquez was my point, Napoles was a hard hitter but his combos were not pretty like Marquez and crisp, dude would load up.
Can you stop already its getting tired, let it go already man, its like you want everyone to have your view or else you get butt hurt.
Def. Thats what i love about Canelo, he might not have 1 punch KO power but hes so fu*cking strong. His combinations are brutal. Works the body & head beautifully.
Gamboa throws good combos too, but has no power. Thats the difference between good and great fighters i suppose.
Has not power..he even have a higher KO % than Canelo..in here ppl only troll man they just poo in the facts..
best combo punchers?
well most of the great ones have been already named...
and one can say jmm pac pryor slr jones etc and be entitled to it...
i just don't get it when some guys throw in power and other what have you in the thread...
a combo puncher is a combo puncher regardless of how hard or soft he hits the other...
iff jmm's greatest win is his 4th fight with pac, then he did not won it via a combo
Gamboa most likely. JMM although he's a bit slow.
Uh, what? Do you enjoy blind hating?
He's certainly slowed down a lot the last couple of years. Before that though, he was very fast. Beautiful combos though.
Over the last 10 years I would say it's definitely Juan Manuel Marquez.
For the guy who said Leonard and Napoles are better combination punchers than Marquez, what he's saying it's not absurd at all. Both Napoles and Leonard are two of the greatest combination punchers ever, as is Marquez.
Surprised there's no mention of Alexis Arguello then again this is NSB :lol1:
Carlos Monzon isn't up there in terms of all time great combination punching but he's very underrated in that regard IMO. His second fight with Brisco is an absolute display of combination punching. The accuracy is genuinely incredible. Check it out if you have time.
Outside of the obvious Dirrell, Paul Williams, Gary Russell Jr all good combination punchers.
All time would have to be Lopez, Marquez, James Toney.
Hell can't leave out Judah. He threw some sick combos in his prime.
De la hoya?
and Finito's combos aren't better Marquez's are tighter, faster and more extended.
Finito is one of the best combination punchers though
I prefer Marquez's combos over pac. I see more technique and true boxing fundamentals in Marquez's combinations
And Juan isn't blessed with that much speed, which makes it the all more amazing. Young fighters can learn from him. One of his combinations that I've been practicing is the left jab to the pit of the stomach, followed up with a left uppercut, he caught Pacquiao with that plenty in the 3rd fight.
