Why do people want a 5th Pac vs JMM fight?**BANNED FOR CREATING 1000000PAC-JMM thread

If there was a 5th fight, it's going to turn out like the 3rd, less risks, less action. We just saw how strong and vulnerable both can be when they're going for the knockout. They will be more cautious of each other if they meet again.

Marquez should retire. He's 39 years old. He got what he's been wanting for so long, to defeat Manny Pacquiao, and he did it in dramatic fashion. It couldn't have happened any better for Marquez. He's 55 and 6 with 40 KOs and the number 2 P4P fighter in the world. Its the perfect time for him to walk away from the sport, on top. If he decides to do one more fight, it should be a rematch with Floyd Mayweather. Why not, one more shot at the best. Win, lose or draw, he can retire with millions more. There is no shame in losing to Floyd and it would have no impact on his already spectacular legacy.

its really up to them two, if both guys' hearts still want it, then who are we for that? both guys aint chasing money. if marquez will give pac the chance to redeem himself like pac has given him, why not? thats totally respectable and I see marquez doing this. marquez aint no chicken with no pride or anything. if he sees or hears pacquiao requesting for it badly on TV , he would give in to it, no because of the money, but because of his principles. if he retires, thats totally fine and great, but I just dont see him going that way..

I thought about this today.. I think 4 is good enough. this was supposed to seal the deal and Marquez did so with no way to argue otherwise. Say Pacquiao wins a 5th, what then? a 6th? Is this rivalry just gonna keep going until Pacquiao gets a convincing victory over Marquez? we were looking for a convincing victory from one over the other.. we got it. It should be the end.

I believe a 5th fight is inevitable. But both deserve long vacations. A 5th fight would generate serious cash flow.

A fifth fight would provide an opportunity to tie it up for Marquez (2-2-1) and Pacquiao to redeem himself. Plus they would both make a ****load of money. The fourth fight was the best one yet. Why not?

I understand that pacquiao fans want a fifth fight. Pac looked good, mobile, good headmovment and he hit marquez repeteadly with good shots. I thought Pac looked better and more motivated then he has looked in a while. Still i think the best decision for Marquez would be to retire. This is the perfect ending for his career, he outboxed pac in their third fight and now in the fourth he knocked him out brutally. He will never have a better fight to retire on and be remebered for then this. He is 39 years, this is a perfect opportunity to walk away and not do what Roy did.

Their fights are exciting as hell. I like to watch exciting boxing matches. Ergo, I will watch a fifth fight if it happens.

Lets get it on! if the 5th wont happen then what fight would we await for that could level the thrill and excitement that pac and marq engendered? with this promotional feud killing boxing until that very dying seconds of round 6. I think the fifth is much more anticipated by planet earth than a fight with mayweather against either guys.. lets grab the opportunity while its there and prove that MMA is nowhere near comparable to boxing.. But i just have a feeling that marq would decline such.. remembering after their first encounter, it took 4 years for the rematch for marquez was just ****ing scared to kiss the canvass again.. To me, that was the perfect ending to a great story. If Pacquiao got the knock out, it would have been just as great. That knock out wasn't one of those referee stoppage knockouts. That knock out was the knock out to end it all. Why would anyone want a 5th fight? Yeah sure, it would be a great fight to watch. And I would definitely tune in if it happened. But as a fan of both these guys, I think they did enough for us. To demand a 5th fight would be f*cked up on our part because they would probably do it too. As a human being, that's a little f*cked up. It ended in a great way. That closure was good for both Pac and JMM.
