Why is everyone shocked?

I think this just proves how powerful the media is. They had everyone think dude is unbeatable. He has been knocked out before. Shame on hbo, if they wouldn't have hyped Pac so much all of the shock wouldn't happen ...oh man, no one thought he was unbeatable. NO FIGHTER is unbeatable. its the nature of the sport that everyone will loose at one point or the other. its how Marquez won that is so shocking. no one would be surprised if it went 12 rds and he out-boxed manny. I never predicted Pac would lose by KO. All I am saying, is you have to be really careful. Those bodyshots that Pac took are serious, they slowly break you down. Those counter punches take there effect, not only physical but mentally. What I am saying is due to Pacs style, medicore defense, missing alot of punches, rushing in...what did anyone expect would happen? OMG! Finally some knowledge on these forums. I remember running into Seckbach at the Home Depot Center and pretty much said what you just stated. I told him that Roach was an overrated trainer and doesn't teach his fighters defense. I told him Pacquiao has one of the worse defenses in boxing, and the only reason why he hasn't been caught is because his opponents were too scared to return punches or were too drained to pull the trigger. I also told him Pacquiao's speed was overrated because he throws punches recklessly, anyone can throw fast punches in bunches if they are not worried about defense. Pacquiao's defense has always been his offense, but against a great counter puncher it doesn't work. Anyways, Seckbach just laughed at me and walked away. Who's laughing now?

Ladies and Gentlemen all Im saying, is he behaved the worse way you could against a master, chess master, counter puncher. That simple, no hate or disrespect about it.

I was favoring JMM to win, as a matter a fact, a stoppage win wasn't out of the question for me neither, but i would have expected more of a corner retirement type loss, but to see him KO him like that was NOT what i would have ever imagined. Marquez clearly didn't come into this fight with the intention to outbox Pacquiao, he came in to KO him, he had been saying it before the fight, but i never truely believed he actually fucking meant it!

Pacquiao was eating harder form of shots during their 3rd battle from the most precise angles and timing of marquez but didnt go down and was taking it all well like hotcakes so I was totally surprised with this. dont wear any glasses Sorry bro, in the end Pacquiao was against a warrior, a technician, a future hall of famer. This result should have not shocked anyone. Plus its not like Pac is known for his defense, he is known for being a guns blazing type fighter.
