I guess it's based off the Bradley performance, when Alexander was hurt (through headbutting?) he quit the fight. So if Bailey manages to knock down Alexander a few times, or just hurt him with power shots will Devon quit again (sort of like Ortiz did against Maidana)? I guess I'm just wondering how Alexander will cope if he gets hurt again.
Realistically Alexander doesn't have the best defense out there, I don't care what anyone says he gonna get touched up sometime in the fight. The Maidana fight was more of a horrible fight for Maidana than it was a good performance for Alexander, which i feel is a bad example to base Alexander perfromance at 147..Bailey will land in this fight and its all about how Alexander reacts... just put 300 on Bailey +650, this is gonna get me front row seats for the marquez and pac fight...lol
This is what I call a classic case of ..... Bailey has a punchers chance.
His work rate is non-existent ..... he is one of those guys that has a problem pulling the trigger but when he does it has KO written all over it.
Alexander needs to fight smart.
I'm pretty sure Alexander is better than Mike Jones, I think this will be easy. But you're absolutely right, one nice right hand can end it.
I honestly think BoJ mah homie, that a glancing right can change Devon's game plan in such a significant fashion that he'd be in the bike far too much to pull rounds out. It depends on how uncomfortable it'll make him, cause he'll feel that right even through his glove. But like someone stated, Bailey may not throw enough for it to be too much of a factor. JMHO.
On paper he should, but on paper Mike Jones should have too and all was going according to plan until it was lights out, Bailey could potentially ko anyone from 140-154 if he lands that right hand.
I'd up that to 160 Spray my man.
I hope bailey wins but devon will most likely stick and move, clinch when needed and cruise to a UD. I would love to see devon get clipped with baileys right and see how he handles it. And with all the trash talk between bailey/alexanders camp bailey better up his work rate big time!

No.
The only way he loses is if he gets knocked the fuk out. Bailey throws like 4 punches a fight lol.
Against Mike Jones he did, but thats because he was bigger and on the backfoot + Bailey was wary of his power. I'm not sure Bailey will fight the same way against Alexander, at least he said he'll try to pressure him from the get go.
I say hate saying this, but Alexander's only goal should be to take win the title tomorrow night. Win your rounds, and get the hell out of that ring. He needs to fight an ugly, boring fight. Move around, keep a solid work rate and clinch when you need too. If the crowd is bored and booing Alexander is doing his job.
Randall Bailey is not the guy to try and win fans against. He's pound for pound one of the hardest one punch KO artists in the sport. You make a single mistake and you will pay.
The only drama in this fight and really the only reason to watch is to see if Bailey can trap Alexander and land that big shot.
