I guess its just a fact that this forum is mostly inhabited by Pac Stans, so it shouldn't really come to a surprise
But I see some more knowledgeable, less nut-hugging boxing fans saying the same stuff
Name 1 fighter in history that gave back a robbed title... Name 1 fighter in history that publicly stated (during his career) that he really lost a fight when he received the victory...
Now ask yourselves why Bradley is more interested in a rematch than Pacquiao... Money?? Sure, but you don't see Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, Hatton, or any of those guys asking for a rematch... What's keeping them from wanting to collect another big Pacquiao check?? Clottey in particular barely got hit and has no chance of making any where near a Pacquiao-payday without Pac, so why would he fear a rematch when he already knows that he can just cover up the whole time, survive, and send his check to the bank the next night??
And fact is, and I'm on record saying this before the fight, Bradley had done nothing to earn the Pacquiao fight and nothing to prove he even had a chance to win... His best wins at the time were Peterson and Alexander whom I didn't realize were measuring sticks for Pacquiao. Even the prefight tune-up he had against Casamayor?? Why was anyone even excited about the fight??
And yet, Bradley went the distance on 2 broken feet, left the ring without a mark on his face (and achieved that without running or hiding, ala Cotto and Clottey)... And managed to win the Championship rounds (If u didn't score round 10 and round 12 for Bradley, you're a retard plain and simple... Those rounds weren't even close)
And I highly doubt Bradley's camp had enough pull to influence the judges.. If anyone would be to blame for paying off judges, it would have to have been Arum, so why would u blame Bradley for that? And basically,
So...:
Why does Bradley have to live in all the hate?
Why does he suddenly suck after losing to the best fighter in the world?
How does getting beat up by Pacquiao mean he'd lose to completely different styles of fighters like Marquez, Guerrero, Berto (I even saw a Devon Alexander who he already dominated)?
Seriously, I wanna know what u people are thinking... Hell, I'm willing to listen if u can manage a good enough argument, I'll give u green K
Bradley is gonna be headlining an HBO event and making yet another million dollar plus payday and he has the belt and is undefeated. He isn't mad, he has got boxing by the balls and is doing his thing........seems to me that he is pretty smart.
Compared to Pac...it's not a bigpayday..compared with the averages he gets......all his fight with pacquia did was smear his image...how much do you think his next fight does?...not much...but he does not have boxing by the balls...he's a forgettable fighter...
ok, not hating I was just generally wondering how/why HBO would even pay him that much when he's not really a big draw when it comes to tickets sold
LOL, nah, I'm just saying that based off his most recent paydays, I can't see him taking a step backwards at this juncture. I didn't take any offense to what you said or anything, I didn't mean it to come off like that.
His style and lack of power is grossly offensive to me.I don't hold anything against powder-puff punchers.I see someone like Malignaggi, who obviously doesn't have much of a punch, yet he at least tries to put some pop into his punches. And just the way he throws his punches(that pathetic excuse for a jab, those winging hooks...just ugly as hell to watch). He's always been a solid all-around boxer, but his punching technique is severely lacking, which is just odd to me for a boxer at that level.
I don't have any strong opinions on the Pacquiao fight.I don't see him winning more than four rounds there, but Bradleys style is such is that he's probably doing more than what appears on first look. And it won't have been the first time others have been mislead by shameless cheerleading commentary from the truly vile and appalling Jim Lampley.
Do you think the Pacquiao fight will have increased his profile to such an extent that he could actually fill the front row at his next fight?
I'm sure he will do OK, he has been on a PPV undercard and headlined a highly controversial PPV........he will have plenty of "angry" people who will show up to watch in hopes of him losing. Then all the people that have seen him on TV before that support him.
Arum builds stars......he knows how to do it and he is on his way to getting Tim there.
Is he really? Can you confirm this?
How can he not? I mean he made over a million for the Alexander fight, like 1.2 million for the Casa fight and 5 million for the Pac fight. He isn't going to get paid anything less than a million...........I don't have proof right now but I'm about 99% sure he will make in that range.

YEAH I think hes doing just fine
Bradley is absolutely, undeniably an airhead....he lost the fight period which was superseded by three-blind-mice called judges then goes on to back up them up by saying he won the fight in review if "you lower the volume down and remove the commentary by HBO"....wtf....then goes on his little rant on how the former champion should try to get his belt back....HELLO Mcfly...the only reason why you're mad is because you lost on another big payday pac not adding to your "fat account" as you claim.....Bradley you have neither the speed, power, skill to make PPV buyers order your fights....go back home...desert drizzle.

Reminds me of super slow mo and, come on guys, I won, just believe me.

Bradley gets so much hate because he continues to prove all the doubters wrong......nobody believed that Bradley would be the 147 champ and still undefeated today...Pac fans, Khan fans...keep hating...Bradley getting the last laugh.
He looked like he was out when he went down and when his head hit the canvas it woke him up. :lol1:
Yea I remember watching the fight and thinking he is out, for the life of me I can't figure why Holt didn't go after him because he had to be badly hurt, even if Holt is not a go get'em guy you got to finish the job or at least try. Bradley bluffed him pretty good though and Holt just let the moment pass.
I still think Bradley is susceptible to hat happening again and the next guy is not going to play it as weakly as Holt did.
Still it is impressive that he got up at all, and was able to play it off like that.
So you act like incompetence and corruption don't exist? It's not just incredibly naive, it's flat out stupid. If the majority of the boxing world believes a fighter won, their opinion doesn't matter because 3 men who may or may not be corrupt saw it differently? :pat:
Is that not the rules of boxing??

One of the advantages of that Klingon head.
Outside of the Lara Pwill fight,I've never complained about a decision..I may say I did not agree with it..But to act as if Lara really has the win is flat out stupid...Judges are put in the position to score a fight, weather I agree with the outcome or not I'd have to respect it and face the fact that the fighter I felt won did not win...I know so many hold their opinion in very high regard, but opinions do not change recs...I'm sure there will be a fight where I highly disagree with judges in the future..But I will keep my same stance on this which is,I will respect the judges decision..I felt Marquez beat Pac in their last fight..Did you hear or see me claiming somehow that Marquez really won that fight??Come on dude...
At the end of the day these fighters are promoters all agree on officials, and those officials score the fight best way they can...I'll ride with that, over the judges of popular opinion...

Bradley got up like nothing was wrong against a dude who usually puts guys to sleep when he connects like that.

Bradley actually deserves MORE hate than he's getting. First of all, not a sane human being on the planet thinks Bradley won, deep in their heart. Sure as hell not himself, yet he acts like he not only beat Pac but did it easily and that he wasn't impressed? Claimed Pac's power was nothing even though the fight shows otherwise?
Bradley deserves a lot of hate for that atrocious circus the past few months.

Generally speaking that is a positive not a negative~ although Bradley is there to be cracked against quality counter punchers.
The only person I can think of that said publicly that he lost a fight was Sugar Ray and Hearns. But Ray said that years after he retired when he had no "stock" in boxing. It is not a fighters fault for getting a gift and rolling with it.
