John Ruiz, Audrey Harrison, Derreck Chisora, Monte Barrett & Sloth Valuev.
My god what a murderous resume!
Beating these guys is barely a step above Deontay Wilder beating Owen Beck.
Big fcuking deal he knocked out Chisora & was blowing out his ar5e in 3 rounds and looked sh1t in the process.
He hasn't even proved hes the best boxer domestically.
Boxing really is a sad state when you get so much praise for beating Chisora whose nothing but a fat, slow, sh1t version of Mike Perez.
Christ I've heard nothing like it, you put in 1 half-ar5ed performance against a C level fighter, one of the worst boxers on the British circuit and you get all this praise.
Yet Danny Garcia knocks a guy out who is chinny & all that but is considered world class and all this cr4p by just about everybody and he doesn't get an ounce of praise on here.
A huge underdog nobody gave a chance to pulls off a stunning victory = Gets very little praise.
A huge favourite does pretty much what was expected = Gets loads of praise all around the world.
Agreed lol
Tyson Fury beats Chisora = Fury is still a bum
Haye beats Chisora = Haye is the GOAT and Vital don't want none of him lol
Vitaly fight... Charr...carr.... a guy who could walk down a major street in any city and no one would know who the fu.ck he is...
Vit make the fight don't be a *****
Who has Vit fought in his past 12 fights lol
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BOODY!!! lol and this guy is supposed to be a hall of famer lol!!! loses to a washed up lewis and now that makes him some how honorable enough to enter the hall of fame. your joking!
Haha exactly how it is.
They all make excuses saying Chisora was out of shape against Fury but if anything it was Fury who was out of shape.
Chisora wasn't in much better shape when he fought Haye than when he fought Fury.
Nevertheless, Chisora still gave Vitali his toughest fight since Corrie Sanders, and that is the reason people take him seriously as a contender.
The bottom line, is that there was a Heavyweight fight on Saturday which generated a lot of interest in the media (for reasons right or wrong) and from paying customers. However, the fight delivered on its promise of action which I think was crucial. We always hope for great action, but unfortunately don't get it in some cases. A fight like this which was under the spotlight as an incredibly bitter grudge match couldn't afford to be a stinker after such a contoversial build up.
There's no need to deconstruct everything. Regarding Vitali, I think it's the only fight which inspires Haye at this point.
As for his resume, I can understand the critics of most of his HW campaign, but outside of the loss to Carl Thompson I would say his CW career was pretty solid. He was quite a heavy underdog going into the Mormeck fight, and even though Enzo Maccarinelli was certainly no elite fighter, he was still Hayes main rival in the division and I clearly remember a few people saying David was ducking the fight and would never take it (one article in the Boxing Monthly especially). If anyone has an opinion on who Haye should've fought instead of those two then please share, I could do with a laugh.
Why doesn't he prove it then? Fighting the number 14 in the world who lost 3 of his last 4 fights isn't really that impressive even though he knocked him out in good fashion. Fight someone in the top 10 to prove you're worthy.
By that logic, Haye would fight the likes of Rahman, Charr, Dimitrenko and Banks...
Personally, I rate Chisora higher than all of those. Heck, I think he'd do a job on most of the top 10, himself.
I wouldn't mind Povetkin - Haye to be honest, but again, that fight wouldn't sell over here. Haye isn't in it for the legacy, I don't think he loves Boxing, he's just good at the sport and loves it for the money he's making.

I see where you are coming from, ovbiously we know why the Chisora fight happened. Other than the World Champions, who's the next best? Helenius? Chisora beat Helenius comfortably, Haye could make a lot more money fighting more known guys over here like a Chisora or a Fury, so there's nothing really in that fight for him. You're not telling me Helenius beats Haye. Then you look at the rest of the HW division, Mike Perez, yeah possibly. But guys like Fury, Price and Seth Mitchell would never fight Haye, too much of a risk early on in their careers, what would they gain from it?
Haye would wipe the floor with anyone in the HW division barring the two Klitschko's.

Haye would wipe the floor with anyone in the HW division barring the two Klitschko's. Haye should get credit for this fight, not because he won but because of the way he won. He done what a lot of people thought he couldn't and knocked Chisora out, not only did he knock him out he boxed the head off someone who people were saying Haye would struggle against.
As for Haye being easily hit, sorry, don't agree at all. Chisora wasn't hitting his chin, he either hit his shoulder, neck or top of the head. It's hard to hit Haye on the chin.
As for a Vitali fight, he could win it, but I don't think he would.
I'd rather see Wlad-Mormeck II. That must be an absolute killer fight. j/k
Exactly, people might not like it. But Klitschko's v Haye is probably the fight between the best 3 heavyweights on the planet right now.
I'm not going to claim Haye's win over Chisora means Vitali or Wlad are scared, but everyone seems so opposed to Haye fighting a Klit. There is literally no one else out there more worthy of a fight right now, Hayes credentials **** all over every other Heavyweight right now and they aren't even that great!
People complain that boxing's best don't get it on and then are opposed to Haye and Klitschko actually fighting. Madness
What do you want to see? Wlad-Thompson 3? For the record, I'm still leaning towards big Vit against Haye.

Just keeping it real, Hayes a poor mans Herbie Hide.
At least Hide had the guts to face Bowe & Vitali in their primes and didn't run his mouth whilst hiding like a *****.
Herbie Hide >> David ''excuse-maker'' Haye.
Pretty sure Haye fought Wlad in his prime too.
Granted **** performance, but he stepped up to the plate and took the fight.
Don't know what your yelling about, the HW division IS **** there's the Klitschkos... then Haye and then everyone else. Povetkin isn't stepping up to the plate and Charr is god awful, Fury and Price are a year removed from being ready and even then it's no guarantee. Mitchell? Once he fights a Klitschko he'll amount to another Calvin Brock.

Fury? Really?
The same guy that was floored by feather-fist Pajkic?
He was squared up. Could be worse, could of been floored by a feather-fisted light heavyweight like Lolenga Mock
Mr Haye should go see Fury or Price or even Perez, guys more on his level but we all know he will not risk anything.
Fury? Really?
The same guy that was floored by feather-fist Pajkic?
Bowe and Vitali were Hide's mandatories if I remember correctly, it was simple to make those fights.
Haye AND the klitschkos are equally selfish and conniving at the negotiating table
K2 are the champs. They hold all the cards and bring the German $$$$ to the table. How can anyone like Haye? He was great at cruiserweight but at HW he is a joke!! Before he knows it he will have Price, Fury, Perez breathing down his neck waiting for a shot.
Thanks, I now know you are just trolling.
Bye Bye
BLINDED BY COUNTRY OF ORIGIN!
Who has he beaten that is worth a damn?
A 7ft sloth that a near 50yr old Holyfield beat far more convincingly as did Chagaev.
A 40yr old John Ruiz who had lost about 4 of his last 7 and was one of the worst heavyweight world champions in history.
Dereck Chisora who got battered from pillar to post by an out of shape Tyson Fury and was getting outboxed by Sam ****in' Sexton!
Who has he beaten? Who the hell did the guy even beat at cruiserweight?
Mormeck? Enzo 'chin of steel' Maccarinelli
Agreed lol
Tyson Fury beats Chisora = Fury is still a bum
Haye beats Chisora = Haye is the GOAT and Vital don't want none of him lol
'Nuff said.
Apparently fighting the #14 in the world makes you the #3 in the world.
Its hard for me to judge just how good he is of a heavyweight when he refuses point blank to fight anybody in hope of a Klitschko pay day.
He won't fight Price, Fury, Povetkin or anybody
People are just basing him being the 3rd best heavyweight behind the Klitschkos off fanboyism.
He hasn't done a damn thing to prove to me he is what people say.
Its just the British media, the U.K fans blinded by country of origin.
Impressed he stopped Chisora though it was pretty expected but his stamina is horrific and I personally wasn't impressed by how easily Chisora was finding him myself.
he has "the frame" to deal with anyone at heavyweight not named Wlad, and possibly Vitali.
Huck would get smashed to BITS
Based on what?
This so called speed, power & athleticism we have only seen against washed up 40yr olds and fat, C level bums.
Not entirely sure he would beat Huck tbh
