i just want to know how you see this fight winding up, this is no bauit thread but i just want to see what you think will happen in this fight at 154 or 160, lol, doesnt matter, lol,
The fight would be as one sided as something like Mayweather-Baldomir. They can fight at 168 even. Floyd can come in at 150lbs, Chavez Jr can come in at 168lbs and balloon up to 190lbs and he would still get outboxed.
Let's break down what is boxing, since some of you who think Chavez Jr would win, forgot.
What people don't understand is that this is boxing, it's a sport with rules. You can't kick, punch below the belt/back of head, no biting, no elbowing, blatantly push, no headlocks/holding head down, no tackling/no takedowns, no stepping on the opponents feet, and most importantly, no weapons.
First of all, Chavez Jr would need a weapon to beat Floyd, i'm talking about an extra object. Like a lead bar, baseball bat, gun, knife or something like that. And that's just plain illegal.
Okay now, Andy Lee was outboxing Chavez Jr pretty good. Actually, even though they were in El Paso, Texas where one would think a robbery would be in place, not even they could figure out how to give more rounds to Chavez Jr. Now, what makes all of you fools think, that Floyd Mayweather Jr wouldn't be like an invisible man in there, using a defenseless Chavez Jr as a punching bag? Really, which win was it, Rubio? was it Zbik? Was it the Lee win?
Is all of this nonsense because of the size difference? Really? You guys just can't realize that styles makes fights, and Pacquiao would always beat even a 180 pound Clottey, or a 200 pound Margarito, while weighing a mere 140 something pounds? You guys are really this slow? I'd love to see a 150lbs Floyd, against a 180lbs Chavez Jr. It would look like circus act, the way Floyd would toy and outbox Chavez Jr easily. Reminding all of you less knowledgeable fans of the sport, that styles make fucking fights.
you'll find your opinion to be in the minority
and there's a reason for that. you are clearly missing the point
the 200 lb margarito and clottey stuff is evidence enough.
you can put on 40 lbs, but you're still a WW under there. your bones dont change.
jr gets down to 160 from 200+ when he walks into camp. he probably takes drugs to get there
he's the biggest middleweight of all time, he's got decent footspeed, and a hell of a chin
he'd stop floyd mayweather. miguel cotto forced him on the ropes. he's 35 years old and doesnt have legs the way he once had them

Andy Lee has a punch that needs to be respected at middleweight, and Chavez Jr. broke him down with ease. After two rounds, you knew Chavez was going to break him down. Now imagine what Chavez Jr. would think of a punch from a guy like Floyd.
Style is exactly why Floyd would lose this fight. In order to stop a pressure fighter, you need to be able to keep away or you need to be able to stop that fighter with your punches, otherwise the pressure fighter will have no respect for the boxer and throw him around the ring. Styles make fights doesn't always mean "the boxer wins" like a lot of people think it does.
size alone does not win a boxing match...floyd is a damn genius and id bet real money that he'd win this fight and also bet he'd be discredited by the same people claiming he'd get ko'd afterworth
There's a point where size alone does win a fight though. Chavez Jr. at 160 would be that point for Floyd.
I don't see how Floyd wins at 160. It doesn't even seem possible to me, Chavez would walk at him and break him down, and there wouldn't be a damn thing Floyd could do about it.
Stupid thread, Chavez Jr would wreck Duckfeather at 154-160. Mayweather couldn't even move Cotto, what do you think happens when his patty cake punches touch Chavez? Chavez Jr is a horrible boxer but Floyd still loses.
1. chavez jr barely makes 160, what makes you think he can make 154?
2. 154 is already too much for floyd, what makes you think he will agree to fight at 160?
floyd outboxes him,to fast,to slick.he will use his jab alot more in this fight and counter chavez body attacks with quick head shots.it'll look like floyd-baldo all over again.....plus chavez will have to "TAKE THE TEST"
He wouldn't be able to put On a baldo performance his legs are no where near that anymore.
See mayweather vs corrales.
Seriously though Floyd would just pot shot him all night. He wouldn't knock Chavez jr out but would embarrass him. He wouldn't stand and bang with him, Floyd's to smart for that. He would make him follow Floyd around the ring the whole fight. It would be a super frustating Night for Chavez Jr.

size has been a key factory for chavez jr sucess, no style has beaten chavez aswell and dont forget, lol, the chavez family history of them includes a sucessful beating on the mayweathers aswell
El Dinero Vaca by Savage KO
Mayweather would box Jr's ears off and if he could survive 12 rounds he would win a wide UD. Chavez Jr can't make 154 so this only happens at the full 160 limit. Chavez Jr would walk right through Mayweathers flush counter shots because he can take a punch from a full fledged Middleweight so he wouldn't even feel Mayweathers shots. Mayweather is in decline he isn't the fighter he was when he beat ODLH, Hatton, & Marquez. He showed in the Cotto fight that he gets tired late. The legs just aren't what they used to be & that would be his downfall. Mayweather would beat the dog**** out of Chavez early but Chavez would still keep coming and wear Mayweather out & stop him late. Chavez Jr by KO. Lets face it Floyd doesn't even pack a punch at welter much less Middleweight.
forget 154, that ain't happening. Mayweather vs a clean piss, glove weighed, same day weighed in at 160 Chavez Jr. As posted earlier gimme Mayweather 118-110 is a fairly uneventful fight

no style has beaten chavez jr so far, lol, just like floyd fans say about all floyds opponents, that was a reminder to you:peeright:

Chavez doesn't even have a Jab, dude got outboxed by Zbik and was getting outboxed by Lee.
Let's be real here. One Floyd wouldn't fight at 160 and Chavez can't make 154 without his pills.
Chavez Jr too big and strong, he'll walk through everything Floyd throws and eventually wear floyd down with some body shots. A smaller ortiz was able to pin floyd on the ropes at times i cant imagine what Chavez would do.
And Mayweather Jr is too good and too smart. He'd not only find a way to basically shut down anything that this "Big and strong" fighter throws, he'd also find a way to make a home for that left hook and right hand. He'd frustrate Chavez Jr. It'll be the 12 round version of Mayweather-Gatti, just silence all over the arena, with ooh's and ah's here and there when Floyd accurately lands his power shots on Chavez Jr's openly wide and defenseless guard. You would hear the air conditioners in the background, of how quiet the place would be. Because the fans, even Floyd fans, would be amazed at how you can't even beat Floyd even if you're 30lbs bigger than him in the ring. While to others it will just be something they already knew would happen.

Yup, only flo-mos are the ones looking at things that would prevent the fight, so they don't have to discuss the beating their idol would take. It's only a fantasy fight thread, and they're still thinking of excuses for their hero to duck, Jesus.
no jr would not be the same fighter after taking a test,he skip urine tests and has failed a test before.so what are you talking bout?
