Jr is a Beast, that's why they call him "El Dinero Vaca".:boxing:
Entertaining fight.

I was sick of seeing him fiting nobodies on ppv cards a few years ago, but he has now earned my respect.
He is a force, undoubtedly... And Martinez isn't just going to walk through him, win or lose.
I became a fan after watching his last 2 fights. The combos are something we dont see many fighters able to put together.
Jnr still has an annoying face tho. Something about his face bugs me. Looks like a spoiled child who needs a spanking.
Zbik, Lee, and Rubio weren't bad wins.
Zbik was a Top 10 MW, Rubio was coming off beating a pretty highly regarded prospect, and Lee was a solid MW contender who many predicted would give Chavez hell. Not the greatest resume, but has some solid wins. Obviously Sergio in September is his first career defining chance thus far.
Chavez did not beat Zbik. :nono:
He has fought bums for the most part but his resume will hopefully get filled with good, solid fighters from here onwards.
This^
Its the main reason I'm not a fan of the guy. Hes been protected way to much.
The Lee win was not impressive at all, whoever thinks the Lee win was great win is a fan boy of the Chavez name.
Lee was almost KO'd by a no name Craig McEwan and fighting guys like Saul Duran who? Who is Andy Lee for you guys to be celebrating he beat a top level fighter?
I will not believe Chavez vs Martinez happens until there both in the ring.

Underrated.
He has fought bums for the most part but his resume will hopefully get filled with good, solid fighters from here onwards. Seriously underrated though but I feel that is due to his competition.
His body work is tremendous.
this. Thats what was most impresive on sat. Jr body punching is one of the best in the sport
He's already twice set the HBO compubox record for body shots hasn't he? Regardless...........nobody in boxing has that kind of snap to the body.
The shots sound like a covered tennis racket.

Junior is a beast no doubt, I just question if he is really making 160...he looks a bit healthy to be making that as comfortably as it seems...he probably belongs in like cruiser...
Jr. is coming to his own and he is still very young at 25 or 26? years old. He is a big boy at MW and seems to have inherited his pops chin and toughness.
