Because it made no sense for Manny to drop VQ upon Arum's request when VQ's very purpose was to ensure that Manny was getting paid what he was supposed to from Bob. Why would Manny accept someone's verbal promise and then not question why the contract is 1/3rd of the amount he promised? Manny's NSAC contracts say that he is paid $6 million to $8 million per fight. Nowhere near the $20 million that his fans claim.

Talk about a meaningless thread out of nothing issue. Pacquiao signed a multi-fight contract with Top Rank. He is honoring it. His fights under Top Rank generated over $500M in revenue over the past few years and Pacquiao is now making purses he could never have dreamed of. He is happy with how Top Rank have managed his career. It's as simple as that. He also has other,more important things on his plate to worry about promoting and putting his fights together, with his job as a congressman outside of boxing. Not everyone is a bitter, greedy and ungrateful egotistical maniac like Floyd Mayweather who has to cause problems with his promoter because he doesn't want to pay a white man.

I think people are saying that he has something on him to raise more suspicion with Pac. The most vocal are Floyd fans. My 2c is that Arum has nothing on Pac but instead of just boxing, politics has a lot to do with it. Arum has connections and since Pac is into politics, he will need those connections.
