Top 12 Boxing PPV's

Cotto-Margarito II did 600K, so where's that one??? Mayweather usually sells more than Pacquiao with a common opponent, with the exception of Marquez, though the cirumstances were vastly different going into each of those fights in regards to Marquez. So I'd say Mayweather-Cotto wold do at least 1.3-1.35 Million PPV's. Given that it's on Cinco De Mayo, where Floyd has done big bumbers with Oscar before, I think it could hit 1.5 million.

Many of those 'numbers' are unofficial and were only released by the promoters, most significantly, many of the Pac fights, which were absolutely never officially released by Arum, and were only thrown out in unofficial media capacity to compete with Mayweather's ie. these are not official numbers and can't be officially used. Take for instance the number of people in attendance at Pac/Clottey; I guarantee that most people here still buy the whole 50-55,000 people in attendance right? There were only 35,000 in official attendance taken from the IRS and boxing commission tax documents and an extra 5,000 free tickets given out for publicity, media etc. The whole thing was complete BS, as are most of these numbers coming out about Pac fights. It's Arum's unofficial, media leaked numbers.

Every Hatton fight did at least an extra million in the UK. Tyson-Lewis did an extra 800k in the UK. David Hay has broken 1 million numerous time including an estimated 1.3 million against Wlad. Im sure it did, these are just US numbers.

I just found this list on endi.com (spanish news) and since everyone seems to come up with different numbers all the time and or inflating the numbers this is just to keep everyone humble. De La Hoya vs Vargas? De La Hoya vs Mosley? Tyson? Seems to me they put some Trinidad fights there that shouldn't. Remember this is a puertorican newspaper and they are Trinitards. :headbang: .....it's a Puerto Rican newspaper? that would explain why they deliberately left out many PPV's that did +1Million to add some Trinidad PPV's that only did 500k

I don't know how TR PPV's can ever be on the list because they never release their official numbers.

I don't know if you guys notice too that the only Pacquiao numbers released are versus Golden Boy fighters. The Cotto fight, I guess it's because he is a free agent now. Fighting under Golden Boy for this fight.

Several more Tyson PPV's did over a mill, I don't know where they're getting this.
