Well after watching Maidana this weekend I think all those wars he's been are catching up to him. I think a Rios vs Maidana fight is in the horizon and i really think Rios can be the first man to ko Maidana.
Adrian Broner ko's both of these bums!
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
:clapping::clapping::crying1::crying1:
i hope this fight happens in the summer or fall/winter. they are on a collision course because rios win or lose vs gamboa will go up to 140 and maidana will most likely go back down to 140. I definitely can see rios dropping maidana multiple times, i honestly would not be shocked if they both dropped each other 4 or 5 times. 50/50 fight but I might lean a little towards rios because hes fresher.
:boxing: :boxing: :boxing:
i think rios wins by ko. maidana's looping punches could miss while rios' short and compact punches are perfect inside weapons.

The only way Rios beats Maidana is at lightweight, lol. Brandon is an irresponsible lightweight. That and he balloons up inbetween fights, but Maidana stays in shape year round like Bernard Hopkins.
Maidana beats Rios easier than he beat Josesito Lopez.
Rios would come forward and plot.
As Rios does this, Maidana would take a step back or to the left or right while jabbing. Then -- when Rios least expects it -- Maidana would lead with power shots.
El Chino executed this strategy against Broner and it was very effective.
anyone who goes toe-to-toe with brandon rios gets BEAT UP...you'll need to have one hell of a chin to go toe-to-toe with brandon...but if you just box him like abril, alvarado and pac did..then it's more of an easy fight...
even trying to outbox him can be hard to do since he is constantly just walkign you down...acosta tried to outbox rios and still ended up getting stopped.
You could say the same thing about Maidana.
Maidana has proven to have a wider range of abilities and be more dynamic in his skill, which is to come forward and bang. He would mop the floor with Rios.

Rios doesn't have enough power to beat up Chino. Rios is tailor made for Maidana. Easy fight for the puncher.

I'd pick Rios to win in a grueling war.
One of Maidana's and Rios's full time sparring partners said that Rios always gives him harder sparring, i'll try to dig up the video.
Maidana can't go full blast in sparring because he could ruin a fighter just like that. I'm certain he holds back.
Rios, on the other hand, goes hard in sparring to compensate for the lack of one-punch power.
My opinion still hasn't changed, Rios beats him. It's just styles and Maidana fights in a way that would favor Rios.
You're reasoning is pretty vague. Care to elaborate?
Maidana eats inside fighters for breakfast... He doesn't have to chase them down... it's like a Christmas present... they're right in front of him... like shooting fish in a barrel.
In an ESNEWS video, Maidana said Rios doesn't have power. He said it in a polite way.
Also, a boxer who sparred both Rios and Josesito Lopez said Lopez hits harder than Rios... and Chino ate up Lopez and sh*tted him out like nothing.
