fans of Floyd and Pacquiao dissing Cotto and Bradley?
I've seen posters write Cotto is Pacquiaos leftovers, he's damaged goods, and I've seen Pacquiao and Khan fans saying that Bradley was scared to fight Amir Khan of all fighters. What, you don't want to see these two fights?
Your daily "I can top you argument about my favorite fighter" wise cracks are more important than dissing two tough opponents Floyd and Pacquiao are facing? :bottle:
Grow up. The boards are fun until you start dissing two guys who give their blood for this sport while you watch. Fun is fun, but damn!
for Pacquiao sure, but what does beating Cotto mean for mayweather? Not a damn thing. Anything less than a knockout for mayweather would be disappointing to me.
Honestly i'l be disappointed with Manny if he cant stop Timbo....
I feel like Floyd has the harder assignment all things considered
HERE'S THE DEAL
Everyone just wants Mayweather vs Pacquaio, its THE Fight. It should have happened ages ago and damn sure should have by now. Any other fight made for them is and will be greeted with disappointment.
Im a Cotto nut so im glad he is getting a shot at Floyd. Bradley is a good fighter too and Undefeated, him vs Pacquaio is ok. These are good fights in their own rights but they aint THE Fight.
WHOEVER they fight will piss off someone. Pacquaio who can he fight? Marquez again? Ive seen hundreds of posters slate it and say they dont want it. Jones/Brook? Untested nobodies. Cotto? Already whooped him and plenty feel nothing different would happen in a rematch (not me). Berto? He's shiit, couldnt even beat Ortiz and Collazo was robbed.... Ortiz? Heartless quitter, Floyd's left overs....
Mayweather fights.... Cotto? Pac's left overs. Kirkland? Too crude and wild, little experience. Alvarez? Too Green and a fraud. Khan? No chin, hype job exposed by Peterson.
It seems the only other fighter these two could fight, bareing in mind that they are essentially WELTER Weights is the MIDDLE Weight champion of the world Sergio Martinez......
Until they face each other their opponent choices are gonna bring criticism
floyd and cotto are 2 big names but that fight is pretty one-sided.
pac-bradley has some hint of competitiveness.Pacquiao is going to beat Bradleys ass.
We've been dicked around for 2 years on the Mayweather-Pacquiao thing. I guess it's too much to ask as a fan for the two best fighters and biggest stars to, you know, actually fight each other.
I agree that Cotto and Bradley shouldn't be bashed. But what do you expect from these idiot "Flomos" and "Pactards"?? They think it's some kind of victory for their fighter to beat a better opponent than the "other" fighter does.
If only Floyd and Manny had as much desire to prove their superiority over one another as their devoted fans do.Well said.....

I don't believe Cotto can win, but he'll give his best effort. Same goes for Bradley. He will give his best effort, but it won't be good enough.
Both Cotto and Bradley have the potential to pull these fights out, Bradley more so than Cotto but only because Manny is more vulnerable and coming off of a hard fall back to reality post Marquez.
Throughout boxing history the equalizer to speed has always been the jab and power. Cotto has both and is an intelligent boxer. He also has two more things working in his favor:
Mayweather's activity and quality of opposition, especially his most recent farce of a fight vs Ortiz will not be a positive in this fight.
Specifically the Ortiz fight can be looked at as negative in several ways: Ortiz wasn't even close to Floyd's level and the lack of rounds he went coupled with the unfortunate and nasty head-butt to the mouth is a concern.
But the big thing Floyd has working against him is made of concrete and steel and win or lose in Floyd's mind he knows where he is heading.Thats a heavy burden to have on your mind especially when you have a family that you will soon be parting ways with. I have a suspicion that for the first time we might see a sub par camp put in by FMJ. This makes for a lot of interesting spin.
People are dissing it because FLoyd fans wanna discredit Manny, and Manny fans want to discredit FLoyd. I personally think that Cotto is the tougher match up, BUT I still think Bradley can surprise us... Even though I don't expect it to happen...
Everyone just wants to see May vs. Pac thats it.
But if they both win in May and June it just makes their fight even BIGGER...U Dig!
:boxing:
Hey I dig. Bradley and Cotto can win. Bradley can keep power by only going down to 147 and Cotto can keep power by only going down to 154.
Bradley is the least dangerous because all pac has to do is outwork him which he's good at as I think he is really a smaller less talented version of pac.
And Cotto has a lot of power at 154 but not KO power. If floyd pot shots him into the 10th round the fight will be over by TKO.
It's just the nature of the beast. These fighters and their fans are hell bent are discrediting each other. Both fighters have their strengths and weaknesses. Bradley has virtually no experience on the big stage. Cotto has been in with some less than stiff competition as of late. It's all to the good though. I think that Bradley stands more of a chance of beating Pac than Cotto has of beating Floyd.
Because people are growing restless about Floyd vs. Manny.
With that said, only the bias haters and fans of both are knocking either fight. Both are really good fights and the best for each guy right, besides each other. Sergio wasn't available with fighting in March and all.Good post. Arum will not let Pacquiao fight Floyd. Pacquiao isn't scared of Floyd, Arum is.

Agreed, looking forward to these potentially high action fights.. Punches will land and we will be entertained.
I love the May vs Cotto and the Pac vs Bradley fight. The reason why people (including myself) is disappointed is because these two fights are replacements for the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight.
Oh, I understand the disappointment. But dissing Cotto and Bradley? Two of the good guys of the sport at that.
