I you mean both at welterweight no. But pfp yes.
imho not only p4p speaking marquez have been hurting pac since the featherweights and although took him longer time to adjust but just like Pac brought up his power to WW, bradley could not hurt a fly but and bro we have seen it with our own eyes JuanMa's power I dont know why you are denying this?
Likar Ramos has a chin of steel and look what Marquez did to him.
Hey mushahahahadeeen finally you come out of hiding after all that crap you talked about Martinez the Chavez lost and you disappeared for 3 months
you guys on crack? Pacquiao walked through Bradleys slaps. Every single one of Marquez punches shook pac up.
i wonder why...memo just did his masterpiece last saturday..
that is hard to say because neither just "LIVE OR DIE" with their Power like a Brawler would, both are very patient fighters
if you catch someone with something they don't see coming, I don't give a damn how tough your chin is you can get hurt
would people consider Dirrell more powerful then Abraham...Dirrell Wobbled Froch TWICE in their match and Abraham I don't remember him ever hurting Froch during their match, same for Maidana and Prescott against Khan, Maidana did hurt Khan a few times in their match but he could get the KO like Prescott did...because Prescott landed something Khan did not see coming
most fighters I am sure would rather deal with a Predictable Flat Footed Brawler then a Unpredictable Skilled Boxer who can throw things at you that your are just not ready for
so I would say at 135 yes JMM is the harder puncher, but 140 and above I would give the edge to Bradley, I think Bradley Power is very Underrated though, people Mock his Power because he don't "CHASE KNOCKOUTS"
http://media.timesfreepress.com/img/photos/2012/12/09/Pacquiao_Marquez_Boxing_t618.jpg?ba5b5b122dd3d37cc13d83e92a6a0ec0d5bfa32a
I don't think JMM all of a sudden "GAIN MORE POWER AT 39", he just timed Pacquiao and caught him with a punch he wasn't ready for because he got so reckless and wild which just shows a Low In Ring IQ from Pacquiao because he basically dominated and won that round that he got knocked out in right at the bell
i think we can all agree that at 39 marquez is one of the hardest punchers p4p....never in my wildest dreams could i have imagined him knocking pac down so easily and then knocking him out unconscious. his power at ww now is unreal...
Just look at how they throw certain punches. Marquez loads up like 2-3 times more on many more of his punches. Bradley will just score away while hitting you just hard enough to keep you off him.
what kind of stupid question is that u only have to watch highlights on YT of both fighters if u havent seen them to know
yet i still got 13 pages of replies
big jmm fan, finally, you admit it, lol!!
You're the second person to say this to me today! :lol1:
I am honestly very confused. Why do people have the idea I'm not a fan of Marquez? I have always been.
I didn't consider him to be an ATG or in the same level as Morales or Barrera until the 3rd Pacquaio fight but I've always been a fan and admirer of his.
not even close.
he throws combinations
he sets stuff up well
the guy is a bonafide legend.
but he's not a hard puncher at WW
not by any stretch
bradley is at least a decent puncher
and he's a good body puncher
at WW marquez is lucky to bust a grape
he got zero respect from mayweather, the only real WW he ever fought.
He may be lucky to bust a grape but he sure as hell can break Manny Pacquaio's chin into several pieces.
what makes jmm seem to be a hard puncher is he properly throws his punches
proper technique = power. now bradley is the polar opposite. his punches are so sloppy it's not funny
P4P he is....
He is so far ahead of Bradley P4P in power that there is simply no bother to even go down that route.
I'll put it another way. Since first stepping up his competition in 2007, when he first faced off with a guy that wasn't just pure, prospect fodder, in Miguel Vasquez, he's had 10 fights. Out of those 10, he's stopped one guy and that was a completely shot to **** Casamayor, who Marquez had stopped in much more emphatic fashion three years earlier. That's one TKO in 10 fights across five and a half years, and that was of a shot, old man, who had been knocked out worse by Marquez many years earlier.
From 135 to 147, apart from his losses, Marquez has stopped every fighter he's fought, except for Sedchenko.
Since 2007, he's had 12 fights, he lost 3 of them and stopped 5 of them, and those 12 fights were of a much higher quality than what Bradley has fought and it's also across a broader range of divisions, from 130 to 147.
If we're going by the same amount of fights as when Bradley first stepped up, ten fights ago, then Marquez has stopped 5 out of 10, while Bradley has only stopped 1 out of 10 and that was, as mentioned, a guy Marquez had knocked out worse years earlier.
Even before this last fight, you could see Pac get hurt and stunned/wobbled numerous times against Marquez and flinch often when thinking of the counter shots. Pac walked through Bradley's shots and honestly looked as if he couldn't even feel them.
Marquez hits harder at 140/147. I would have said clearly to be honest, even before the last Pac fight.
Bradley throws punches that can knock you off balance, but they rarely seem to actually hurt guys. I've still not seen him knock someone down, and they struggle to get back and are out of it. That's his one failing I think. If he had power, he would be a true beast.
I think it's quite clear Marquez hits harder. He has much, much better technique and puts more into his punches. Bradley throws lots of arm punches and they are very often wide and looping. He struggles to put together straight, well thrown shots that use his whole body to get full torque into them.
