How would that fight go down???
Its funny because there style is polar opposite!!!
naseem is very unperdictable and unorthodox and ricardo lopez has such a text book boxing with the whole hands up chin down and throwing stiff jabs etc...
i think a more reasonable fight considering the weights would be lopez vs darchinyan. for me, prime darchinyan was the cristian mijares fight. i don't know why vic doesn't always fight like that, he was great in that one. i think that vic vs lopez would be an epic match-up. two of my favorite fighters down in those lower weights.
the reason i picked darchinyan is because he's got some serious punching power at 108-112 and he has a pretty unorthodox style.
now how about orlando canizales vs naseem hamed? what a war that would be!
Hamed v Fenech would have been a good one too.

i would put these fights at 108 and 122, respectively.

Didnt manny pacquio go from 105 to Junior middleweight/154!!!???
So how the hell is this shameful you freakin tool!!!???
manny fought at 105 when he was a malnourished street kid from the phillipines
lots of your favorite weight class boxers competed in the amateurs at very low weights.
it's a silly question to ask, dude
just chalk it up as experience and move along knowing a bit more about each fighter (and the importance of about 20 lbs in the lower weight classes)

lopez was tiny, dude
pint sized
they are separated by many weight classes, even if their height and reach isnt that far apart
hamed via knockout if you really have to ask
Because, you're talking about a junior flyweight vs a natural featherweight.
Hamed was a superbatamweight, could still make batam but had to go up because no one would give him a title shot.
A 21 year old Hamed at batam beats Lopez by KO.
ironically, lopez has a slight height and reach advantage. if they were at the same weightclass or a class or 2 apart, i would pick lopez to school him all day
Even if they had been contemporaries this fight never would've happened because of the size differences. But as a fantasy fight, it's still pretty easy to call. Remember how Barrera schooled Hamed? Finito would that too, except it would be even easier for Finito.

Yeah but Manny didn't just bounce up to that weight. Lopez is simply to small. If they were actually the same size it would be worth entertaining the thought of this fight, but that isn't the case.
