joe calzaghe; ward's good but beatable

Every fighter is beatable but Joe couldn't beat Ward now or in his prime. And for the record Eubank might have been British great but not great, there's a difference

I still believe Dirrell would have won that competition and beaten Ward if he had a backbone. The man is so very talented. In terms of talent, id say he is the best in the world.

Feather fisted Wards definately beatable. But not by the likes of kessler or Frochs of this world. Well maybe Froch if he puts it on Ward from the outset. Maybe bute i havent seen much of him but hear he is supposed to be handy.

If Calzaghe was not allowed to cuff and slap he wouldn't be crap. He moves well and can throw some great combos but most of what he does is technically illegal. Calzaghe would have tried to walk through Ward, and unlike Froch he could have leapt in an out with punches and got some work done. The strength is a big factor, just how strong is Andre Ward? Calzaghe is a big a man but I'd imagine Ward is stronger. I can't see Ward losing for a while.

I agree with joe here. Ward lloked like he was begging for the 12 th round bell to ring. If we were still doing 15 rounders Froch wouldve KOd him.

whats funny is the ppl arguing whether eubank was great. he was a great british fighter. the problem is he wasnt prime when joey zags fought him. thats a line. he was well past it by that time. He was a great fighter, period, but I agree Joe didn't fight a prime Eubank, far from it. Nigel Benn and Michael Watson fought the prime Chris Eubank.

Calzaghe is class but he never fought anyone like ward, Hopkins doesn't have the same speed as ward and doesn't have the reflexes ward possesses at 46. I still had Hopkins beating him so a young hungrier version of Bhop imo beats calzaghe. Everybody is beatable.
