24/7 Margo-Cotto starting tonight

Their face-off leading up to these episodes was the best face-off I think HBO has ever done, and this first part was very well done, it was excellent in fact. I still think that Margarito has no business ever boxing again for what he attempted to do to Shane Mosley and this episode does nothing to dissuade me from thinking this way. Antonio Margarito is a cheater regardless of whether it was done in his fight with Cotto or not. I get really bad vibes from that guy like he has no scruples or something.

They are pretty bad tbh. Even at fights, post interviews, the guy usually says half the things the fighter says. There was also something Tony said about the whole "dying in the ring", on the face off, that I hated the translation for. He said something like, "Lo dije muchas veces, que me bajen del ring en camilla". Which was really, "I said it many times, to take me out of the ring on a stretcher". Those guys get paid to much to jack stuff up. Gimme the dang job.

You do know that both Margarito and Cotto have plenty of tattoos right? As do I But I was referring to the boys in Pacquaio's 'clique' that all got the same meteor tattoo that Pac does, just because he says so

It's confusing to see both camps give contradictory sides as to whether or not there were observers from opposite camps observing the handwrapping. Tony's manager says there were people, Cotto's friend says there was nobody... :S I remember Eaner a few weeks back saying that he knows Tony's manager personally and that he's told him that there WERE people in the dressing room. Cotto is definitely pissed. He is going to lay it all on the line...this is going to be a BAD ASS fight. I'm pumped! I'm ready to go! THIS...is a sign that the episode was epic. *Stamps with Mr. Fantastic's seal of approval* About the hand wrapping, Marg's team has no credibility with having no one in the room. Not because of even him "being caught" with Mosley, its the fact that when Nazim went into the dressing room, Margarito already have one glove on. So them saying they "waited" for Cotto's guy but the next fight you don't?

Great episode. Can't wait until the next one. Cotto is a great guy.

He doesn't really need excuses for things he can't explain. I would imagine the "booger" remark to be a flippant one; that's not something he'd expect anyone to take seriously, although some appear to be doing. :lol1: The lack of weight in the evidence against him has become more and more apparent over time. When I say weight, I'm referring to something that conclusively points to the man attempting to come into a fight with weapons that are potentially more injurious than one would expect a man to carry into a boxing match. And the man a few posts above me makes a valid point; ofc HBO are going to slant their presentation of all this material for a desired dramatic effect.
