Cotto, "Say No To Texas!"

Lmao. You fellas have to understand.... they want this win bad. All of their fighters have fallen to Mexico's finest all year. That's why they're so bitter. Margarito has balls. He knows he can't fight, but still doing it, and in N.Y. too, which is notorious for favoring Cotto. Clottey & Mosley got robbed and I'm sure Margarito will get robbed too if he doesn't knock Cotto out. Cotto doesn't want this fight at all... unless its in N.Y. or close to home. The fact that a guys career is over from the beating he took and all you can say is "Ricans want the win bad?" Seriously, I want to see the fight but we get to root for Cotto in other fights, Marg's career is over.

Why is Cotto calling shots? Margs should be calling the shots. last time i checked , it was Margs that won the fight. Let's see Margarito's Career is in shambles and Cotto is the top 154 pound fighter in the world and a top 20 p4p fighter. So I would say Cotto gets to call all the shots, plus Cotto is the much bigger draw.

Margarito showed he didn't have his tail tucked between his legs when he agreed to MSG. He was pressured and had no other options or input and still agreed. Bigger Gate and guaranteed sell out, as the last fight did something like 11k fans and had 500k buys. It also wasn't like Cotto was surrounded by Mexicans in Vegas it was about 70/30 Mexican, and against Mayorga it was all Cotto and that had an attendance of 7,000. From whats happened its safe to say Margarito is not going to be nearly as popular. Sure you have guys like Fantastic and a few others but every Mexican I know wants Cotto to win and can't stand Marg. Anyway at worst I would see it 50/50 and it's a lot better than Mississippi, Denver and El Paso. I doubt it would happen but give people who bought tickets roughly the same seat at MGM or wherever with a free room for the night. Have to get your own plane ticket, but its at least something. If not just get the refund, like I said there's like a .01% chance that happens, but it would go a long way in helping Cotto out as much as possible and just take it out of Marg's share for being "a warrior" and his corner for being inept.

cotto should just give in and fight in texas...they could put the fight in san antonio,houston or dallas...theirs no nba season right now so the at&t center,toyota center and american airlines arena would be good for the fight..down side is that ricans would b1tch that they wont get a fair shake

Cotto can make millions fighting anybody else. Margarito will have trouble making more than 200,000 fighting any bum outside of Mexico. The only fight he can probably get is in Mexico against Angulo for a million pesos. Cotto is in a power position to demand for his conditions if not he can walk away and fight Martinez or somebody else while making good money.
