Why are people scared to say that Marquez CLEARLY won the fight?

most boxers nowadays have become too defensive and boring. look at the alvarado undercard. that one stole the show. he initially came not to win but to defend his a55. he only turn aggressive when he realized that he's way behind in points. if he did that in the very first rounds he could have won more impressively. this is what happens in boxing today. most boxer's instincts is to fight like clottey. :bigeyes: No Alvarado studied prescott and realised that he is very dangerous in the early rounds and fades down the stretch. Which is why he conserved his energy and focused on the body to quicken prescotts decline in stamina. And it proved to be a successful tactic. ALSO if you are a true boxing fan then you appreciate every skill in boxing. Even the Klitschko's, Mayweather's. Boring they may be but they are successful in boxing and in Mayweather's case the highest earning boxer around. Ive read a few of your comments on this thread and you seriously need to think before you leave comments as most of them sound ridiculous. :rofl:

The common thing I notice about the people who support Pacquiao's victory is that they bring up two things. 1. The judges scorecards 2. Compubox Basically, they rely on other people's views to decide the victor. If you want to decide on the real winner, rely on yourself. Don't bring up compubox, judging or commentaries.

i read an article yesterday that mentioned that refunds were given on all head to head bets after pac was declared the winner. Don't remember what betting site or service it was tho. I believe the public betting in Vegas is the reason we got the robbery, Marquez was a huge massive underdog and brought out alot of Mexican fight fans to the fight....

man.. Pacquiao looked lost DURING the fight. He looked confused and beaten. Marquez had everything going againest him and he still PULLED it through. This coming from someone who thought Marquez would have gotten slaugthered. This **** is ****ed up for boxing. I scored it 8-4 for Marquez, same scoring after watching it 3 times. He's my favorite fighter but I did try to look at it as unbiasedly as possible. I can't see how this is anything but a robbery. For the record, I completely agree that their first fights could have gone either way, but not this one.

The Compubox stats argument is worthless. Marquez outlanded Pacquiao in both I and II. How come he didn't get the wins then? did you see anyone kissing the canvass in the trilogy?....jeez..

Interestingly Max Kellerman scored it a draw, and IIRC, he scored the previous two fights for Marquez, make of that what of you will. No bias to Pacquiao, Mayweather, Marquez. Martinez and Cuban fighters are the only ones people can accuse me of having a bias for. I saw a clear victory by Marquez, 8-4.

Nobody is scared to say JMM clearly won the fight. It only appears that way because the Pactards are very persistent with their thread spamming. There is a poll thread that is stickied and the results are not even close just like that fight was.
