Just wondering, now that the fight is a few weeks away,
What did everyone score for the first 2 fights?
For me:
1) 113-112 Pac (7-5 in rounds for JMM but he got KD'd too many times)
2) 114-113 Pac (6-6 in rounds ; kd the only difference)
I don't have the exact scores. But, the first time I watched the first fight, I had Juanita winning by two rounds
the 2nd time I watched it I had Juanita winning by a point
the 3rd time I watched it I had Dumbquiao winning by a point, lol
The rematch. I thought Dumbquiao fought a better fight. However, I had Juanita clearly winning by a margin of two points, no more, no less. I've watched and scored it two more times and I still came up with Juanita winning by 2points.
lolz for me the first fight was more definitive Pacquiao victory than the second one .....
but I could also see why people are giving Marquez the win as in the two fights their are many close rounds ...
It depends on how you score the first round. One judge scored it 10 to 7 for Pacquiao. That technically makes it a draw if you score it that way.
A round with 3 Knockdowns is a 10-6 round.
I am re-watching the 1st fight. The 2nd fight, Marquez won 114-112 IMO
Not trying to create an argument here; just an honest question: how does 7-5 marquez translate into a draw?
7*10 + 9*4 +6 = 112
5*10+7*9 = 113
Unless you scored a 10-8 round for marquez somewhere?

First fight: Draw
Second fight: 114-112 JMM. Yes I gave Marquez 10-8 round for the 8th.
Ya that 8th round was iffy..could very well have been a 10-8 round.
I had the first fight 7 rounds to 5 for Marquez. So depending on you going by the 3 knock down rule the fight could've been either a one point victory for Pacquiao or a draw. I had it a draw. The second fight Pacquiao definitely won but barely. I too had it 6 rounds to 6 with a one point advantage for Pac due to the knock down.

1st fight: 113-112 JMM
2nd fight: 114-113 JMM
Both fights were obviously very competitive, but I had JMM winning them both, more the first than the second. The second fight was a lot closer and more competitive than the first I thought, hence why it doesn't bug me at all to see that people think Pac won it.

I'd have to rewatch them both. The first one I scored a draw and second Pacquiao by 1 or 2 rounds. But I can see if someone scored them for Marquez they were close fights. These two will always have wars everytime they fight each other. They are just the kryptonite to each others style.
