Floyd beat guys who had been brutally ko'd b4, i dont hear many floyd fans pointing that out. Hatton "was close to being beaten" in his fight b4 floyd.
So what's your point that you don't see many Floyd fans pointing out that most every fighter fights guys who have been brutally KO'ed?
On flip side dating back to De La Hoya, every single fighter other than Ortiz was coming off a KO "WHEN" (H. Grant knows what that "when" word means) Floyd fought them.
But what does that matter? Nothing more than WHEN Floyd fought guys who have been brutally KO'ed before.
The fact remains that Hatton had NOT been brutally KO'ed "WHEN" Floyd stepped in the ring with the undefeated JWW Champion Ricky Hatton in the most anticipated fight of that year.
Pac fought a Hatton who had a crack head training him and was coming off a win over Pauli. Who doesn't have a win over the feather fisted boxer? It was a perfect match up for a beaten fighter like Hatton. Hatton knew sure as shyt he couldn't get KO'ed by Pauli. It was a tune up and the most anticipated thing in the Pac vs Hatton garbage fight was Sr and Roach talking shyt.
I dare anyone to go back and read my posts WELL before Pac even agreed to fight Hatton. My stance of Hatton being destroyed, done, and a never has been was and is still the same. I was right. People can't rewrite history. I just called it well before Pac "selected" Hatton who was still dating the ring post Floyd introduced to him. His fans where still homeless and pissed off. H. Grant is probably one of them.
I'm not attacking you, just telling it how it is AND how it was and my posts years ago read the same.
nobody would hate on it
Martinez is overrated as hell, a win over him would help Floyd
confidence from beating Martinez would get Floyd to fight Pac
he'd be so full of himself he'd finally man up and go for it
get this fight done at JMW, Floyd wins handily
I mean seriously, if Floyd fights Martinez especially with no catch weight, how can anybody hate on this fight? This place is a trip.......
Lets go by Floyds standards.
"He has losses"
"Hes been knocked out"
"He hasn't beat anyone"
"Nobody knows him"
"He needs to get his PPVs up"
Dont know what you are getting at here. Hatton looked pretty good against Paul, and Pac still took the hatton fight.
Your idea of pac's team, errrrr bob arum's intentions with the hatton fight are just a tad bit out of touch with reality.
But thats par for the course with you.

and Roy Jones looked "pretty good" vs Jeff Lacey.
No, Pac was impressed with how Hatton had improved under Floyd senior and liked the hatton he saw against Paul Mallignaggi. You are as good as your last fight, and Hatton was looking fine youd better believe it.I remember reading the morning papers of how nicely Hatton was coming along.
I'm sure he was! lol
..and I don't believe it. If you went back and read my comments from then, you would see my stance was the same and what do you know.... I was right. lol @ you trying to re-write history. We all knew Ricky Hatton was done. Done son! Done.....
So did you lose your house?

So can't you just say that Mayweather was impressed with the way Mosley looked when he defeated Margarito? Or how he was impressed with Ortiz against Berto? Or Hatton against Castillo?
What a load of crap. Pac was scooping up a lineal title on his way up period. Gtfo. And gettijg paid. If he barely beat paulie they would hage taken the fight 100% for sure.

.....and a Pactard would say that. I'm sure when Floyd introduced Hatton to the ring post, it didn't go un-noticed by team Pac, let alone all those other times "he was close to being beaten".

In fact guy, how about you go back and pay attention to what Roach had to say about Hatton back then... actually you should dig up some of my posts about Hatton before Pac fought him. My stance hasn't changed player.
btw, you weren't one of the Hatton fans that lost their house was it?:boxing:

This is absolutely what it boils down to.
And they're going to find any way they can to discredit it.
2 things
1) floyd brigade does the exact same thing
2) hatton at 147< hatton at 140. Period end of story.
O that's right Hatton fired his entire career long team to hire Floyd Sr, The greatest boxing coach ever after he cried for weeks.
Hatton was undefeated when he fought Floyd, but he was close to being beaten many times, which im sure hadnt gone unnoticed by Floyd, and was very much aware of it. I thought it was Pac who chose opponents when he saw weaknesses?
I bet Floyd loved what he saw when he saw Hatton vs Collazo for instance.

Lmao are you kidding me? You're saying that the Ricky Hatton that fought Pacquiao was better than the one that faced Mayweather? Freddie Roach is on video saying the exact opposite of that. He specifically said that Mayweather took a lot out of Hatton after they fought. If you can't at least concede that small point then you're just proving how delusional of a fan you really are.
How does Roach know better than Hatton? Floyd senior never said Hatton was worse after he improved hattton as well!
Well Pac did beat a better version of Hatton than Floyd. So what that Hatton was undefeated when he fought Floyd? Hatton knew he had to get himself better, and he did, getting himself a new trainer and all that. Before the Pac fight, he said he was better himself even.
Only delusional Floyd lovers would say a boxer cant get better once hes lost his unbeaten record. Floydies are making rules up as they go along, trying to invent a game they cant lose!
And yes, Pac would have beat the Hatton floyd fought as well better than Floyd. Pac beat the improved hatton in 2 rounds. Therefore the Hatton that fought Floyd probably wouldnt have lasted much more than one round against Pac, by my maths.
